Given the treatment of Cruz and his supporters here, I find it hard to believe that there are any FReepers left who believe that.

Actually, Johnnie, they can be. But you have to show them how it realistically affects their daily lives.

Cruz, Rubio, Boehner, Portman, Ayotte-—all these people who campaign as “conservatives” then vote for Corker, or TPP, or do NOT shut down the government over Obamacare-—well, all that anyone can get from that is

“If that’s conservatism, why would I want to be associated with it? I’ll take the guy who will build a wall.”
