How would Bloomberg play outside of New York? Probably not very well, especially in the South and West.

A Bloomberg run is probably more bluster than anything. Whoever is behind it has been running those trial balloons as often and the Romneybots have been running trial balloons for another Romney run.

I think that Bloomberg will have appeal (some) in NY, NJ and CT, with some spillover into other liberal NE states. That’s why I think that he’s a bigger threat to Hillary than the Republicans. Bloomberg will only get votes in the south and west from either: a) Transplanted libs from the coasts or Schitcago or b) those people who WANT to fight the government and view him as the one most likely to start the gun confiscations necessary to start that shooting match.

3 NY’ers on the ballot will piss off a lot of people, but the south and west will vote for the guy who will let you drink a Big Gulp.
