My prediction is that Trump takes it by a Landslide and goes after Hillary on all her Thousands of Emails and the Clinton's filthy, lying and sordid lives. Go after her miserable SOS tenure and their lieberry in Little Rock that has a million or so documents that they won't release. Sandy Berger's socks weren't big enough to empty the government records on the Clinton treachery.
9/11 was a direct cause of the Clinton cowardice. Besides Osama was probably another one of their contributors.

If somebody has real dirt that would destroy Trump’s candidacy, they better get it out now, and not save it for Romney, who is singularly disqualified from EFFECTIVELY going on offense.

The Uniparty is desperate to keep the gravy flowing.
The goal is to prevent Trump from gaining the White House, by throwing the election either to Romney or Hillary. Either of those two would be fine with the RINOs.
I thought Trump and GOPe had signed an agreement/pledge? Are the repubs going back on that agreement?

Maybe I’m just paranoid but this scenario worries me. Mainly because I don’t think this anything the GOPe/RNC/K-Street Lobbyists/CofC would not do to maintain their power and control.
This is why it is so important that we stop squabbling over who is more conservative etc. and get behind Trump as the only candidate that can break the GOPe stranglehold. This is the one thing we ALL want to see!
On the other hand, based on past results this scheme too will fail like everything the GOPe tries.
Question: Are there any election law experts who can explain what the GOP can do to rig the convention if it comes to that? I don’t know what part of the process is governed by federal election law and what part is just party “rules” that they can change at will.
This is something we need to know.

Trying to run Romney again tells me a lot about the “establishment”.
They would probably still have the house. But, by pulling this in a year when they have so many vulnerable races in the senate, I doubt they retain supremacy in that chamber.
And the party itself will be a collection of shards, strewn about the landscape.
I’m not sure that this will help the GOPe get what they want. It will be too little too late.

The establishment can see the writing on the wall. Trump is now facing who guys who have almost no votes and two other guys who are both fatally flawed for the general election. Without something drastic happening Trump will almost surely be the nominee. The real panic will come on Wednesday if Super Tuesday goes the way the polls predict.
Still, I am surprised they would go back to Mitt. I am surprised also that Mitt would want to go along with the plan. But old dreams die hard. And these guys are willing to play hard and dirty.
