EXCLUSIVE: A senior Hillary Clinton aide has maintained her top secret security clearance despite sending information now deemed classified to the Clinton Foundation and to then-Secretary of State Clinton's private unsecured email account, according to congressional letters obtained by Fox News.
Current and former intelligence officials say it is standard practice to suspend a clearance pending the outcome of an investigation. Yet in the case of Cheryl Mills, Clinton's former chief of staff at the State Department, two letters indicate this practice is not being followed - even as the Clinton email system remains the subject of an FBI investigation.
Fox News has asked the State Department to explain why Mills maintains her clearance while multiple federal and congressional investigations are ongoing. Fox News also asked whether the department was instructed by the FBI or another entity to keep the clearance in place. Fox News has not yet received a response.

There is a pretty simple answer to this. Once they started finding classified documents on the Clinton server, only people with security clearances could read them. So if they wanted to talk the Cheryl Mills about the classified emails, then she had to keep her security clearance.
Clinton set up the un-secured server system to allow foreigh agents unrestricted access to secret U.S. communications. In return, foreign governments have greatly enriched the Clintons and Obamas.

After the Congolese government attempted to regain control of its own mines, the State Department intervened on behalf of Lundin Mining and another mining company, Freeport Mines, also a Clinton foundation donor.
A round of talks in 2010, thought to be aided by the Clinton State Department, concluded with the pair of well-connected companies retaining their stakes in the mines and with the Congolese government being shut out of its own resources. (hat tip Schweizer book---Clinton Cash)

A key aide of Hillary Clinton emailed classified information about the government in Congo to a staffer at the Clinton Foundation in 2012, according to a copy of the correspondence obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Cheryl Mills, Clinton/s chief of staff at the State Department, sent the email to the Clinton Foundation’s foreign policy director, Amitabh Desai, on July 12, 2012.
The message, which was originally obtained by the group Citizens United through a public records request, is partially redacted because it includes foreign government information that has been classified Confidential by the State Department......but was not marked classified by the State Department until this past summer, intelligence sources tell the Free Beacon that it would have been classified at the time Mills sent it because foreign government information is considered classified from inception.
The message could add to concerns from congressional and FBI investigators about whether former Secretary Clinton and her aides mishandled classified information while at the State Department.
About half of the forwarded message was redacted due to its classified nature before the State Department released it to Citizens United last month. Although it is not clear what the redacted section includes, the State Department said in a court motion filed last week that it concerns both foreign government information and critical aspects of U.S. foreign relations, including U.S. foreign activities carried out by officials of the U.S. Government.
The State Department added that the disclosure of this information has the potential to damage and inject friction into our bilateral relationship with African countries whose cooperation is important to U.S. national security.
The Clinton Foundation and the State Department did not respond to request for comment about the email, or say whether Desai...a non-government employee who has worked at the foundation since 2007....would have been authorized to view Confidential information.

Cheryl Mills later forwarded the full message to the foundation/s operative along with talking points for ex-President Clinton shortly before Bill Clinton was scheduled to visit the Congo region.

There is evidence surfacing that neither Hillary, nor her key staff, signed the official State Dept exit form required upon termination of employment.
My gut feeling is they didn’t sign off b/c that would have cutoff access to classified and other State Dept info......info the Clintons and their cronies rely on to cash-in.
The FBI should determine if Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills, Sid Blumenthal and other Clinton cronies are STILL considered State Dept employees-—perhaps as contractors-—and are still receiving classified State Dept mail and cashing US govt paychecks.

The hydra-headed Clinton retinue flit around w/ scads of tax dollars.....(a) one head in the Clinton Foundation, (b) one head in the US govt sucking up tax dollars, (c) one head in Hillary’s endless campaigns, and, (d) the “do-goodism” head sniffing out lucrative self-serving opportunities.
The constant drumbeat of lurid revelations indicate Clinton imperiled US ntl security, and used the State Dept in tandem w/ the nefarious Clinton Foundation in a huge money-laundering operation.

Hillary’s top aide, Cheryl Mills, (a perennial govt parasite-—leftover from the Clinton’s WH years)-—is part of the serial cover-ups, financial legerdemain, greed, and naked buck-raking lead by the Clintons.
The NY Post reports that Hillary’s longtime aide, Cheryl Mills, was grilled for hours behind closed doors before Rep Trey Gowdy’s House committee investigating Benghazi.
Mills’ appearance followed the release of 7,000 pages of e-mails from Clinton’s private server — many were to and from Mills and heavily redacted. “She has made every effort to answer questions and be as helpful as possible, and has encouraged her aides to do the same, “ said Clinton campaign spokesman Nick Merrill.
Later, Rep Westmoreland, a committee member, was interviewed by Fox’s Greta. He said Mills tried the “I dont remember “ gambit until she was shown emails centering on the line of questioning. That seemed to “refresh” her memory, Westmoreland commented.
Although the Benghazi committee was given 7,000 of Hillary’s emails, Westmoreland observed that the commiitte does not know if they have all the revelant documents (due to Hillary’s criminality -— deleting many emails).
Cheryl has been with the Clintons for a long, long time and they have taken care of her well. She knows enough to sink their ‘boat’. This time, I think Hilly has gotten her cronies in SO deep, that it’s going to come down to Cheryl saving herself and making a deal ... if she was relying on Hilly to protect her, I think Cheryl knows the Clintons well enough to know they will save their own hides before hers.
There are a lot of interesting facets to this mess. The FBI will go after the outer circle & work their way in. Cheryl & other aides will also now be part of discovery regarding violation of FOIA law with the state department email system & Hillary’s avoidance of it. Who knew what & when .... They will likely plead the 5th, but that will piss of the judge even more & he’s already pretty pissed at the government/State Dept.
This email situation is NOT going away, even if we aren’t getting the quick result we’d like to see: Hilly in an orange jumpsuit or more fittingly, standing against a wall with her last cigarette before the penalty for treason is imposed. It’s all GOT to be giving her heartburn despite her claims that there is nothing to see & it’s a VRWC.
