Donald Trump says he isn't interested in the endorsement of David Duke, the anti-Semitic former Ku Klux Klan leader who praised the GOP presidential hopeful earlier this week on his radio show. "I don't need his endorsement; I certainly wouldn't want his endorsement," Trump said during an interview with Bloomberg's Mark Halperin and John Heilemann. He added: "I don't need anyone's endorsement."
Asked whether he would repudiate the endorsement, Trump said "Sure, I would if that would make you feel better."
Duke sang Trump's praises on his radio show last week -- calling him the "best of the lot" of GOP contenders. Duke isn't the only white supremacist expressing support for Trump. The New Yorker reported earlier this week that the white-nationalist website VDARE touted Trump as "the first figure with the financial, cultural and economic resources to openly defy elite consensus." Trump, however, doesn't appear to be concerned that he's attracting these kinds of fans. "A lot of people like me," he said. "Republicans like me, liberals like me. Everybody likes me."
And Duke has came out and said he didn’t endorse Trump, he only liked some of his positions.
this was a tactic they tried all the time with Reagan,, toss out somebody said something and see if he doesn’t answer it absolutely correctly the way they wanted it answered and then jump on him like he’s an uncaring horrible person...
Facts don’t matter, it’s the seriousness of the charge.

This goofy story will not disappear, it’ll get bigger if Trump cleans up tomorrow. Once again the braindead media thinks they’ve found something to run Trump out of the race. Didn’t work before and won’t work now.
I condemed the silly Canadian and Liar attacks on Cruz and I will do the same with this ridiculous KKK attack on Trump.
Nah, the liberal media and the RINO commentators will harp on it to November and beyond when Trump wins. And a small clique of posters here will rush to get their opinions posted.

Trump has came out and said he didn't hear David Duke's name because of his earpiece
Trump: "Just so you understand, I don't know anything about David Duke, okay?"Trump: "I know nothing about David Duke."
Trump: "Honestly, I don't know David Duke. I don't believe I've ever met him. I'm pretty sure I didn't meet him. And I just don't know anything about it."
Tapper specifically stated "Ku Klux Klan". The last Trump comment was in response to that Tapper question.
Trump mentioned (denied?) David Duke three times.
Maybe Trump's mouth brings that on himself.
You are posting an August 2015 article to defend Trump on this issue. Problem is, this article also proves that when Trump said he didn't know who Duke was this weekend he was not telling the truth. How do you not know who someone is now that you denounced 6 months prior?
When you attack the media and then your answers to them when you do talk are repeatedly inconsistent, they will hound you.
Maybe it's a cynical smear job by creeps who should also be your enemy? Are they?
I don’t doubt Trump has discounted David Duke. He did twice in public in 2000, and once in 2015. What matters is why he played dumb over the last few days. Did he really forget who David Duke was? If so, he may have medical issues (Alzheimers? Possibly. Trump is 70 years old. His dad died of Alzheimers.) Or is this calculated—designed to stir stuff up, like Donald does so much now?
Either Trump has serious cognitive issues, he is crazy like a fox, or he subscribes to the Madonna/Paris Hilton/Kim Kardashian theory of “any publicity is good publicity”>
Its worth noting that the people Trump talked to about this in August, Mark Halperin and Joe Heilemann are both regulars on Morning Joe, and both were absent this morning to offer a counterpoint to Scarborough’s rant against Trump.

The media is lying, again. He says he disavows Duke and the media asks why he doesn’t disavow? Really?
Regarding the KKK, Trump should have said: “Well, I certainly don’t agree with the KKK. I, like many right-minded Americans, have always condemned the KKK. But at least it shows that my campaign is appealing to Democrats as well as Republicans.”
I hope this madness stops after tomorrow, but I doubt it.
So he does know who Duke is but he didn’t want to say he did yesterday. Wonder why? Hmmm?
