The stadium has seating for 5,000 and has never held an event with over 8,000 attendees with parking for 1,000 vehicles. Maj. Jim Cooke with the Madison police told AL.com the huge expected crowd for the Trump rally is a logistics nightmare:
“I don’t think you could have picked a worse location for this number of people.
…I’m about as frustrated as I can get,” Cooke said. “I never imagined that I would be notified at 10 minutes after 5 on Thursday afternoon that we needed to plan for an event that takes three weeks to properly plan. We’ll figure it out. We’ve got a lot of great people here and we’ll do the best we can with the mission we’ve got.
“We’ve just never had that size of an event here before. Logistically, the way that’s laid out over there, I just can’t tell you what’s going to happen if a crowd of 20,000 people (shows up). I just don’t have a clue.”
Emergency arrangements are being made for satellite parking and shuttle buses to handle the enormous crowd.
WAAY-TV reported that roads are being closed and traffic rerouted to handle the car and pedestrian traffic.

Nah. All those people aren’t showing up because Trump is popular. Instead, as serious citizens and consistent conservatives, they want to demamd in person that Trump release his tax returns. :)

It's a two hour one-way drive for me, add in the time I'd have to get there early to get in, add in the traffic and the possibility that I'd have to drive home in the dark (night-blindness) and I just couldn't do it.
I'll have to watch on the rsbn feed, just like always.
I could swear I heard Cruz say he was winning in Alabama. When was that again? I saw Cruz on TV this morning and it was actually quite sad. He was trying to show his brave face and repeat the same old attacks but it was obvious he knows that Super Tuesday is going to just about wipe him out. If it were only just Trump, but he is now facing the rise of the cabana boy.
Hillary could probably draw crowds like that.

Heck - she had that many snipers show up when she flew into the Tuzla, Bosnia airport back in 1996.

I had a retired police captain , at a poker game last Saturday night, tell me that with the prospect of Trump as president he has hope for the country again.
I think the same.
It's obvious he loves this country and the Obama's hate it.
