I read 4 territories like Guam and Puerto Rico are included in that 8 state count. I also read that Cruz has done a lot of work in all 4 and will likely win them.

I expect the party to change that rule just before the convention so this discussion may be moot anyway.

If Cruz wins those territories, and they are winner take all, those will be his only qualifying wins.

Giving him 4.

He will not win anywhere else.

There are 57 “state-like” delegations for the Dhimmis. But the GOP may have only 56. Dunno.

Anyway, here’s the DNC’s list —

1. the lower 48 states = 48 delegations

2. Hawaii and Alaska = 2 delegations

3. Am. Samoa, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, N. Marianas = 5 delegations

4. District of Columbia = 1 delegation

5. Americans Abroad = 1 delegation

Grand Total = 57
