Rubio was right about Obama when that fat pig went after him during the NH debate...

______________________

Re: Eighth Republican debate, New Hampshire 2016

From the transcript...

RUBIO: And let's dispel once and for all with this fiction that Barack Obama doesn't know what he's doing. He knows exactly what he's doing. Barack Obama is undertaking a systematic effort to change this country, to make America more like the rest of the world.

That's why he passed Obamacare and the stimulus and Dodd-Frank and the deal with Iran. It is a systematic effort to change America.

-snip-

CHRISTIE: We've heard it said on the stage that President Obama knows exactly what he's doing.

-snip-

RUBIO: Here's the bottom line. This notion that Barack Obama doesn't know what he's doing is just not true. He knows exactly what he's doing.

CHRISTIE: There it is. There it is. The memorized 25-second speech. There it is, everybody.

RUBIO: Well, that's the __ , that's the reason why this campaign is so important. Because I think this notion - I think this is an important point. We have to understand what we're going through here. We are not facing a president that doesn't know what he's doing. He knows what he is doing. That's why he's done the things he's done.

That's why we have a president that passed Obamacare and the stimulus. All this damage that he's done to America is deliberate. This is a president that's trying to redefine this country. That's why this election is truly a referendum on our identity as a nation, as a people. Our future is at stake.

Here's Trump giving his support to the traitor-in-chief on his worldwide apology tour...

TRUMP [on the Larry King Show (April 15, 2009), referring to the then newly elected communist president (Obama)]: "Well, I really like him. I think that he's working very hard. He's trying to rebuild our reputation throughout the world. I mean, we really have lost a lot of reputation in the world. The previous administration [GW Bush] was a total disaster, a total catastrophe."

Shouldn't be long now. I think Newt would be a great addition to a Trump administration.

Almost right. Trump is not the future ... but people who are supporting him are.

One guy is not all that important, even if president. But millions of people going in a direction are important, politically speaking

If Trump is for real, it’s not the GOPe’s future. It’s their demise.

(For the time being anyway. But as Tolkien said, the evil always regroup.)

Looks like Rubio will face the embarrassment of losing here in his home state (Florida).

He can forget any hope of winning in the state's conservative stronghold, here in the Panhandle

We suffer when the news media counts Florida early on EST while the Panhandle is still voting on CST.

I have a somewhat different take on this endorsement. The endorsement of Trump by Christie is a recognition by the establishment that Trump has much in common with the establishment and that they will be able to work with him. After all, Trump is not a conservative and does not have a particular political philosophy. In addition, he will bring many more voters to their side than Romney ever did.

Did you see the earlier article where Trump and Newt are supposedly discussing Newt's future as White House Chief of Staff?

I actually think that is a brilliant choice. It would put Newt's understanding of the nuts and bolts of government to good use.

A Newt endorsement would be as equally "earth-shattering" as the one from Christie.

Christie is a traitor as far as I am concerned. He spent over $175,000 in an attack add against Tom Tancredo in the last election for Colorado governor. It was so nasty that many republicans did not vote and Christie single handed put Chickenpooper in power in Colorado.

it would not surprise me if Mike Huckabee showed up at Trump’s stop in AR. today.

I think Huck and Trump get along and Cruz is leading in AR.
and Huck can’t stand Rafael.

DC Whispers says Newt is being chatted up for Whitehouse Chief of Staff. A good spot for him although I’d rather see him at State.

Trump is not the future ... but people who are supporting him are.

That's a very interesting, and important, point! Trump is doing the country a great service in that he is ignoring the poisonous PC culture here in the US.

Other candidates have gently probed PC barriers. Trump has crashed through them.
