No knock out blows, no gaffes which leaves the rest still in Trumps rear view mirror
Rubio:
Likable an earnest. Great talker and smooth which will make the GOP ladies swoon but no there there. A human parrot repeating what he was taught to say.
Cruz.
It’s over. Cannot campaign with soaring rhetoric and high minded “perfect political purity” talking points only to have the real record be less then perfect. Warp yourself in “holy” white robes, as Cruz has done, and the political dirt of errors shows up darker and more noticeable. Cruz spent all night walking face 1st into the other candidates, specifically Trumps, kill zone.
Biggest knock down punches. After telling everyone he was the best qualified to pick SC Justices, Trump points out Cruz’s support for John Roberts, who GOP voters feel should of ended the debate on Obamacare and gay marriage and didn’t.
Then Cruz lectures Trump about campaign contributions only to have Trump point out he gave money to Cruz. Three point shot for Trump since it points out Cruz is woefully unprepared, appears to be a hypocrite and it exposes Cruz as a professional political insider playing this race as a pretend “outsider”.
So at best Rubio/Cruz can claim is a stalemate which is a lose since they are the ones in Trumps rear view mirror.
Have fun Tuesday night. Maybe on Wed morning you should read everything you just wrote and reflect.
It reminded me of being “attacked” by a couple of yappy little dogs. You know they aren’t capable of really hurting you, so you don’t want to look like a meanie by booting them across the street, so you fend them off as nicely as you can.
No objective person would look at what happened tonight and think it was a fair and reasoned discussion of issues. And if you’re attacked, even by powerless yappers, everyone knows you get to defend yourself.

If you’re going to be cutsie, you should at least get your spelling right. The original Trump family name was Drumpf, but it was changed to Trump in Germany long before Trump’s grandparents came to the U.S. (see the book The Trumps by Gwenda Blair).

These online polls are bull pucky.. Trump lost that debate handily He was back on his heels all nite and no amount of Spin will change that.. Trump needs to learn how to talk and Debate. Maybe debate school. Because Hillary and Bernie will mop the floor with him!!! he talks like Rocky Balboa. but Trump can’t box or throw a jab!!!

However, regardless, Trump won’t get literally tag/two-teamed by Bernie AND Hillary. Clearly Trump was attacked in a coordinated GOPe joint operation—which has been publicly pushed by Faux News open Borders/cheap labor express and others for the past week. Both Cruz and Rubio attacked him all night—as per their marching orders—and you know this unless you have been in a Siberian cave for the past week.
YOu may feel all smug and righteous being against Trump. However, what you fail to see is that the GOPe and Faux News want Rubio and only Rubio—the open borders, “can be bought” cheap labor express candidate. They will drop Cruz, like a hot potato when he is not needed. Eh unless Cruz is also a GOPe guy which he may very well be.
Slate wants the idiot Clinton/Sanders campaign to not use worthless neocon talking points against Trump. Do something that will work against Trump.
