You didn’t read my post, or you didn’t understand it. Or you chose not to understand it.

I said nothing about Cruz’s abilities. I simply questioned what he added to a Trump ticket in terms of enhancing electability. In the Big Picture, they are close on the major issues. They are demographically similar enough.

In sum, Cruz doesn’t really add anything to a Trump ticket to make him more electable.

Aside from the gains to be realized by naming a governor - especially from Florida - Rick Scott would be alike to naming Gilligan [Gilligan's Island] ... Scott makes W sound like Demosthenes overcame stuttering by speaking with stones in his mouth ... well, we will see.

And, you continue to be ignorant.

Go to YouTube, and educate yourself about what Cruz talks about (primarily the law). Unless you do that, you have no argument - just the usual put-down which all you Trump people are so famous for.

Sorry, do your own homework.

Besides the fact that Rick Scott said no, he isn't under consideration today, and does not want the job...I'm still thinking possibly Duncan Hunter.

I have no California connections (outside knowing a few FReepers ) it's just a WAG hunch, not supported by any data.

I've also whispered his name before...seems like a good fit to me. Bonus that he endorsed Trump yesterday....

That's interesting -- in Texas, Trump will beat whatever Demwit gets the nomination; he'll put NY state in play for the first time in a generation; he'll do well enough everywhere else, including larger states like Ohio, but not including California. He'll make the race in California interesting imho. Florida, the remaining "big four" state, has teetered on the knife edge, most notoriously during Al Gore's attempted coup d'etat in 2000.
