Judging by the grammar, it sounds like a Cali HS grad. I know from my friends who unfortunately teach at LA Unified, they “have’ to pass students regardless of how stupid they are.
It goes on in my CA town.
My daughter is in HS and gets straight A’s usually.
Both my son and my daughter tell me that everyone just goes on to the next grade.
I think sometimes my kids get high marks just for having manners and turning their work in.
In our district the bar is a bit low. Students are lighting up Mary right in the middle of Spanish class, rioting regularly and talking about how great sex is.
My kids are horrified by it all.
They were born about 50 years too late.
