Top Advisor Armstrong Wiliams Confirms Dr. Ben Carson Quitting After Super Tuesday?

In a shocking move, Armstrong Williams, who is Dr. Ben Carson’s closest political advisor, dropped hints exclusively with Breitbart News that Carson will drop out immediately after the Super Tuesday Primary.

The stunning revelation came during an interview with host Stephen Bannon, after Williams attacked the rest of the GOP field for “dirty tricks” and using “scorched earth tactics” against an honorable man.

This is a political earthquake, as the GOP establishment tries to figure out how to defeat conservative businessman Donald J. Trump:

“While we’re heading to Super Tuesday next week, I think as I’ve said in an op-ed I’ve written recently, he had some tough choices to make. There’s no question… You have to admit, you see the handwriting on the wall,” Williams said. “It’s more than just the bottom line that he’s not doing well. He just feels he’s going to stay in the race until he decides — not the media, not the political establishment, and not his adversaries — for him to drop out.

“Listen, that time will come. There’s no doubt about that. But it will be Dr. Carson’s decision and his alone. And that may happen between now, and March second,” Williams said, referring to the day after the Super Tuesday primaries. “But still, that will be his decision… When he does make that decision, will be with joy. It will be with pride. It will be with no regrets.”

Armstrong concluded:

“[Dr. Ben Carson] will comes to the conclusion that it’s time to move on. And that will happen sooner rather than later.”

With a poor showing in the Nevada GOP caucus and declining poll numbers, Dr. Carson is left with limited staff and resources. With only $4 million in the bank, he will quickly be reminded that it costs roughly $3 million/week just to stay on air in Senator Marco Rubio’s home state of Florida alone.

Campaigns are costly, and it’s clear the end is near for Dr. Carson.

What better way to boost your chances to do well on Super Tuesday than hinting that you are dropping out right after it....NOT!

Hey my libertarian friend says that he likes Trump and Carson because they both can’t be bought.

So at least one of Carson’s voters will now support Trump!

Sorry GOPe! ;-<

In a way, I’m sorry to see Ben go, as I had a great respect for him for having the cajones to “diss” Obama to his face on national TV, but since his polling is so low, that is the only thing to do.

What gets me about Carson is he has never spoken out about Obama-s abuse of the Bully Pulpit and the resultant conflicts plus assults and murders that came from it. Begining with revenge for Treyvon Martin attacks on non blacks by black gangbangers which resulted in about a score (20) of deaths and serious injuries.

One who has spoken out about it is Miilwaukee county Sheriff Clarke (D) who by the way is ran for re election this month. and won Primary Feb 16th .

When Carson held a brief but slight lead in the Iowa polls Trump set out and accused him of being everything from a pedophile, crazy, and questionable surgeon involved in abortions. Trump was unrelenting and cost Carson his slight polling lead during the November lead up.

Does he seriously believe Trump would consider him for VP ?
The man shoud really formally drop out and use the remaining time to fund raise and clean up his campaign debts

Actually, I think Dr. Carson intended to quit after IA.

But since it became what it became...he stayed in thinking he might gain some traction from the IA story.

Dr. Carson is an honorable man that needs to leave this race...maybe before Super Tuesday.

Why is that stunning news?

Carson has one delegate, and it’s the last one he’ll see this side of the Pearly gates.

It’s “stunning” because Armstrong Williams took this long to drain the coffers dry...?

Hey...

LoL

I don’t know the full story, so I’m just laughing. There may be more truth in there than I know.

I have liked Armstrong, so I won’t go on. You can set the record straight.

“Williams attacked the rest of the GOP field for “dirty tricks” and using “scorched earth tactics” against an honorable man.”

Well, his poor showing can’t be completely attributed to dirty tricks. He is an honorable man, but he’s just not presidential material and the voters have figured that out.

I think he was leaving until he saw the results—which were way above the polls. That’s when he just got his clothes. I think cruz thought and the media thought he was quitting, before the results came in. why did he tell the media he was going home if he was coming right back?.
