The conservative group Club for Growth is set to launch an anti-Donald Trump advertising campaign in two states voting on March 1.
The organization, which supports anti-tax policies, has purchased nearly $1 million in commercial bookings in Arkansas and Oklahoma on TV and digital platforms, according to a source familiar with the buy. Both states hold their primaries on Super Tuesday, when about 25 percent of the party's delegates are to be awarded as a dozen states hold their primaries.
The offensive comes at a time of growing consternation among some in the Republican Party about stopping Trump. Numerous polls show the billionaire with wide leads in many states voting on March 1.
It's not the first time the Club has gone after Trump. The group aired $1 million in advertisements against him in Iowa and $1.5 million against him in South Carolina.
Another group, Our Principles PAC, has also been targeting Trump. The super PAC has the financial support of Marlene Ricketts, a major Republican Party donor whose family owns the Chicago Cubs.
Waste of money.
Too little, too late.
Jeb already wasted $130 million dollars.
Time for the Club For Growth to sit down and shut up.
Club for Cheap Labor is not going to be effective in their campaign. It will back fire.
Collective for hidden agendas obviously attaching $trings to a puppet politician. Dance puppet, dance.
... and we all know what winners the Cubs are.
They MUST launder as much as they can
I predict a lot of entities will alter their existence somehow ... CEO's retire, corporations or funds cease or change their name/ownership, new or different policies will be adopted ... etc
It’s a delusion. They think those voters will go to the dunce, Rubio. Any voters they manage to turn off of Trump will almost certainly go to Cruz.
How many millions have they spent on anti-Trump ads in IA, NH, SC, and NV? They haven’t been very effective in any of these states.
Trump is going to roll into Super Tuesday, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he won every contest.
Yo!
GOPe!!
Rhuu-beee-ooooah will bring ‘em ALL in from Mechhickkooooh!
And nobody wants that.
Club for Growth has contributed heavily to Cruz. They’d be perfectly happy to boost his campaign.
We are witnessing the last gasp that so often precedes death.
The Donald should mention that this is coming whenever he is speaking. If people have been warned about it, they’ll pay no attention. A preemptive strike, so to speak.
Didn’t they try that in South Carolina?

Worked well, didn’t it?
He always strikes back... and goes for the jugular. He’s not about to stand idle and let a PAC take cheap shots at him unanswered.
Just the GOPe digging a bigger hole than they already have . . if that is even possible.
We hate you Carl Rove and we are really angry.
Is this the ‘Club for cheaper imported labor’?
Hard to think of a BIGGER GIFT for Trump than to have the GOPe continuing to try to stop him.
If these clowns would put ONE TENTH as much effort into getting the government off their backs (as in some of the insane environmental, safety, and other regulations), they would not need cheap labor - or at least their labor costs wouldn’t hurt them as much.
They REALLY, REALLY, should consider working with President Trump to get those laws fixed, once and for all, rather than thinking that a flood of immigrants will solve all of their problems.
Cheap Labor Express continues to set stacks of cash in a pile to burn to ash.
