Hah!

I have been here since 2006, and I have not so much as even been pulled over * knock on wood*

But I don’t speed anymore either, so that part helps.

Brevard County, Florida headed this way ping.

Let me know if you want on or off this low volume ping list.
(not associated with the county government)

Prayers for the victims and those in harm's way.

Technically you only have a birthday every 4 years... And this is one of them. I never thought about what it would be like to be born on Feb 29th. This year your birthday is on a Monday. In four years it will be on a Saturday Which is 5 days ahead in the week instead of 4 days. Very interesting.

Glad it didn’t hit too hard in Milton. I have a family friend there, and family in Ft. Walton. Looks like it stayed north of Ft. Walton ..... barely.

That 4.9 mag earthquake here in CA rocked me pretty good, but seems insignificant compared to your storm damage. Prayers up for all.

There is still some nasty weather moving across Navarre and approaching Destin.

They are alerting to this storm on the local news right now.

In fact it seems to be moving over Ft Walton right now. Man, I hope it’s not what Pensacola got.

Looks as though we’re (Seminole, Brevard etc) in line for tomorrow.

I saw a severe thunderstorm box aimed at Ft. Walton a couple of minutes ago. Could be rough but not as bad as a tornado, at least.
We were hit by one a few years ago and that was NO fun.

I hope things don’t get too bad there. My step-mom’s alone now that dad’s gone and she’s probably VERY unnerved right now.

Weather man says no active reports of tornadoes on the ground, and that the formation over the beaches is indicative of possible straight line winds and not of tornadoes.

Thank you kindly.

I understand that 4 apartments were totally demolished, a mom and dad and toddler were taken to the emergency room, but I am not hearing any reports of deaths.

As far as I know, these demolished apartments are the worst of the damaged areas.

GE Generator Plant is across the Street from the Moorings Apartments. The Tornado gave it a direct hit before it his the Moorings.
