Straight line winds can be a booger, depending on how strong they are. Hope there isn’t a lot of damage from them.

I just saw the photos on Twitter of the townhouse. All that’s left are the stairs. Tornados are always mindboggling...bizarre.

Glad everyone is safe, I was worried about my brother in Ft Walton; but he reminded me little tornado big state... He said I have been in AZ too long.
That pre-dawn thunder and lightening was a first for me...very loud and close!
The dog had just tried to get so close he awoke me, must have felt something coming...
Tornadoes are one of the most amazing, awesome, and terribly frightening things in this world.
I am absolutely fascinated by them. I’ve seen one set of twin spouts over Lake Pontchartrain, and I saw one from just north of the I-10 as I was driving through Mississippi one day. That one I saw form it’s birth until it disappeared inside heavy rain. It was large, but in a field, so no danger I think.
This is the very best tornado video I have ever seen. I’m not sure if you’ve seen it before, it’s been around a bit now.

That is really scary.
You know it’s there, but you can’t see it at all until lightning illuminates it.
