In his sermons, Sen. Cruz hardly even mentions economics, jobs, trade etc.
Economics falls outside the domain of social issues. Therefore why discuss economics? Fixing social issues will automatically fix economic problems facing the middle class. /DNBIIS
Because he’s a lawyer with no experience what-so ever regarding the hows of business and cares not a whit.
He just thinks he can wave the Constitution and all wrongs will be miraculously fixed.y
Lawyers exist in a closed environment.Courtrooms are ruled and regulated and one plays within the boundaries. There are no risks because a lawyer gets paid whether he wins or loses as a rule. Most have no idea how tghe real world works and will scream and yell to high heaven at anyone who supports TORT REFORM. Lawyers work on whichever side pays the bill.Cruz is way out of his league about anything but spending other people’s money.
HA HA HA HA Well said.
I'll admit I haven't been following Cruz very closely. What DOES he talk about in his "sermons?"
In his sermons, Sen. Cruz hardly even mentions economics, jobs, trade etc.
Yea, but he’s a Christian...{snark} What else matters?
Sermons indeed
“In his sermons, Sen. Cruz hardly even mentions economics, jobs, trade etc.”
Maybe because he sandbagged us on TPP (and supporting fast-track authority for obama) and advocating a 500% increase in H1B visas.
Cruz was at his best as an advocate of the flat tax and the gold standard, but he's on the wrong side of the trade issue as far as I'm concerned. And you're right, sometimes on the campaign trail he sounds more like he's running for Pastor and Preacher than President, which explains why even the wind-up toy and empty suit Marco Rubio is overtaking him in most states.
