It’s amazing how governments both large and small call additional taxes “savings”.

The only thing those taxes save is additional bureaucracy.

...and when taxes aren’t savings (i.e., there simply is no way for even the most fiendishly creative accounting to bullsh$6t any savings), they are “investments”.
