Ted Cruz was never going to win the GOP nomination. He is just too conservative for the average GOP voter. Couple that with the alleged dirty trix and its just not working out. Trump is getting blamed for Cruz’s poor performance but truthfully if Trump was not running Jeb and Rubio would be leading and Ted would still be likely a distant third.

SC was a must do in my opinion because if he can’t win SC then what state is he going to win. The SEC isn’t that different from SC. Southern states are southern states. I think we are going to watch Cruz do the long goodbye going forward. Or if he runs out of money the short goodbye.

Exactly what every CNN panelist said. SC is taylor made for Cruz and they put in the money and effort to come up with nada.

Do the SEC states go 58% for a “Lindsay Graham” in their primaries? What kind of governor do they elect - establishment hacks?

SC was a Cruz must-win because if he can/t win SC, what state is he going to win? The upcoming SEC isn/ t that different. Southern states are southern states.

IMHO, Cruz/s Ceaucescu Moment was when he brazenly responded to Donald/s cease and desist letter by saying he/d make sure the offensive ads would run even more frequently.

His mask slipped.....he showed then what a cocksure SOB he really is.

I think we are going to watch Cruz do the long goodbye going forward. Or if he runs out of money the short goodbye.

Yet, we know he/s full of dirty tricks.....and he/s in deep w/ the Big Money Boys...so I/m pretty sure they/ll provide the money he needs....under the table.

"He is just too conservative for the average GOP voter."

They bought Reagan who IMHO was equally conservative. However I think it is in Ted's delivery. He has not learned the almost Spartanesque efficient use of the English Language to get his point across, he is too wordy, unless he is under-fire and on point. You then add his Faith/Religious component to that and it is a a turn off because he comes across as preachy. I like those that have Faith and are quiet and live it, it is so subtle, and beautiful quiet frankly.

You state: “The SEC isn€™t that different from SC.”

Except most of the states in the south are not open primaries. Committed Socialist could vote for their Republican choice, since either Clinton or Sanders would be acceptable (pushing the socialist agenda forward).
