It had been announced as a multicultural experiment prior to the actual arrival of hundreds of thousands of immigrants whom everyone in Germany expected would be speedily integrated into German society and its glorious universities. The University of Dortmund had opened an interfaith prayer hall with special rules. It had been named âraum der stilleâ, the room of silence, a prototype which was opened in many universities in Germany during the last two years.
Just twenty square meters, the walls painted green, a red carpet, two sofas, two chairs, a bookcase from Ikea. Minimalism of the âsame Godâ. A strictly âneutralâ space. You can find it in the University of Berlin as well as in Bremen. Students of all faiths, Christians, Jews, Buddhists and Muslims, could have found a gathering space there. But it did not fare very well.
Two days ago there was a terse announcement: âThe attempt to create a non-religious room of silence has failedâ said Eve Prost, the press officer of the University of Dortmund. Many students had complained that they were segregated by other Muslim students and forced to remain in the smaller part of the room, along with any women. Copies of the Koran were placed in the room despite the agreement, posted on the front door, that expressly forbade religious symbols. Muslim students had ordered women to wear the veil and give up perfumes.

Germany is not new to syncretism experiments....
......
Unfortunately it will end, as it always does, with a church turned into a sex shop and with the birth of a new mosque.
Is that the fate of Europe?

The US, India and Russia are still around, then, because...?
“...when one look at world history would show them that no country with a diverse population of different races, languages, and religion has long survived. Countries donât naturally form with a diverse population, and when in the past theyâve occurred itâs usually been as a result of armed conquest. These unnaturally formed countries have either melded together into a single population made up of one mixed race with one language and one religion or theyâve come apart, and theyâve usually come apart with extreme violence. The longer these diverse populations were forced to coexist with one another without mixing and becoming one, the more the hatred grew among them and the more violently they broke apart, but break apart they did, or genocide has settled the issue once and for all.”
The US, and Russia are still around because the jury is still out, and as for India, it broke up in 1947, and it broke up with extreme violence.
This wasn't a "church". It was the foredeck of the Battleship Missouri and the unconditional surrender was being signed.
I keep thinking Germany will wake up and push back. But, sadly that is not happening.
God warned it was coming, and now it is here.
If you are not right with Jesus Christ, now would be the time.
It’s still there. Pakistan and India are at drawn daggers sometimes, but they are coexisting, and India itself is as ethnically and culturally diverse as they come.
Multiculturalism is not about multiple cultures. It’s about reducing all cultures to a meaningless hodge podge of cullinary diversity, funny costumes, and watered down religious ritual. We all like pixza and falafel, and we all worship some sort of deity, which has nothing to do with our everyday life, except for “tikun” and “jihad” against social injustice, and such other blather.
Multiple cultures can and do coexist, sometimes even peacefully.
Sadly, the progressives have adopted the destruction of the thin veneer of civility as their goal. They destroy the traditions, rules and manners that civilize us while pitting identity groups against each other.
Germans can vote them out of office the way we’re doing over here ... Dumping government officials who feed on the CHEAP LABOR EXPRESS is easy AND fun...
