A pro-Ted Cruz robocall in South Carolina is slamming Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump â and tying him to Gov. Nikki Haley (R) â for supporting the removal of the Confederate battle flag from public property.
The call was put out by the Courageous Conservative Political Action Committee, which supports Cruz.

So what was Cruz’s position on this issue anyway?
Just Like his meeting with Dr. Carson who didn't believe him

scooby321 has truth issues.
I wouldn’t compare Trump to George Washington but he’s infinitely better than having pot- smoker Shaft
"I think they should put it in the museum and let it go," Trump said of the flag during an appearance at his new golf course in the Washington, D.C. suburbs. "Respect whatever it is you have to respect, because it was a point in time, and put it in a museum. But I would take it down. Yes."
“He praised the leadership of Governor Nikki Haley and said he understood those who view the flag as a racist symbol, as well as those who see it as part of their proud historical legacy.”
So he basically has no position because such would lose him votes.
Cruz bots we are not that dumb like Cruz Bots?
Where do you go from here wearing that Confederate Flag?
Well luckily, Cruz has shown himself to be dishonest, underhanded, & yes- he will stoop to ANY level to try to win- no matter how low down.
I hate the idea, but he manages to get the nomination, I am going to enjoy the hell out of watching him go down.
But heck, right now we're losing the battle to keep this one flying...I just can't fight that other battle again right now.
Folks in the Trump and Cruz camps keep going at each other as if they have the luxury to stand on their own against the enemy. They do not.
And if they do not unite, or at least call a truce, they will each on their own go down in defeat.
I'm aghast that people cannot see how they are being played against one another, especially on this forum. Wake the F@ up! We have socialist @ss to kick, people!
As you can see in my long term tag line that this is an issue to me, and also to many southern heritage supporting and defending SC ians. It is a valid issue for discussion.
What happened to Ted copying Rand and accusing Clinton of putting way a generation of black men a year ago?
Nikki Haley the bimbo should have thought of this before attacking yankee Trump. Now he gets to skate on the Confederate flag which all GOP candidates are terrible on.
Should he get the nomination, I predict that it will bring about the end of evangelical influence of American politics. I'm in Iowa, where Ted is "popular," and the reality is that he is genuinely popular within a narrow subset, with everyone else ranging from lukewarm (like me) to hostile (a plurality). By the time Ted loses in the general, I'm afraid that not only will he end up politically radioactive, but anyone/anything associated with him will be as well. I won't enjoy it, but I won't be surprised.
Mr. niteowl77
I agree. So much for evangelism.
(Surely, I won’t enjoy it either. I’m more the type to fix comfort food & commiserate than to be grave dancing. These guys can sure fire people up, though. Not the way they were hoping to.)
Cruz’s position is the correct position. The only reason Haley, who can’t run again in SC for governor, did what she did is to cozy up the political elite in the Republican party and to make her more acceptable outside the south. A real cowards way out.
He's didn't even bother understanding the issue in SC. It was in a museum you clown, the confederate war memorial, after all it wasn't the CSA national flag but it was Lee's battle flag.
Never seen any Cruz supporter say such a thing about Trump.
Who could enjoy seeing even Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio lose to Hillary or Bernie?
Do you work for Trump or Planned Parenthood?
Trump says the Confederate flag should be moved to a museum. Next the U.S. flag will get the same treatment.
Good luck with that one. Southerners are not as stupid as you believe.
