Trump has never filed personal bankruptcy. There is a difference between personal bankruptcy and corporate bankruptcy. But I guess you don’t care.
Yes, you are correct, there is a difference.
He left people who provided their services based on his promise to honor his obligations unpaid while he kept is personal wealth untouched.
And no, I do care.
I doubt TBP understands or ran a business and thus never signed the front of a payroll check.
That what makes his corporate bankruptcies so dubious. He has the personal wealth to pay off his financial obligations. Instead he keeps his fortune and allows his companies to default ie, steal from his creditors. An honorable man pays his debts.
Do you care about the people who lost their jobs when Donald Trump chose bankruptcy for his corporation?
Yeah, the difference is, when you drive four businesses into the ground, you can't claim to be a "successful businessman" just because you've never been in Chapter 13.
NB:
Trump has never filed personal bankruptcy. There is a difference between personal bankruptcy and corporate bankruptcy. But I guess you don't care.
Ahhh, and there we go. The Trumpanzee spin.
The whirlwind of denial that Trump lost more money than what he has accrued
Just like the Obama Democrats. Live in the fog of desperation that their Dear Leader will lead them to salvation.
That's certainly true. In a personal bankruptcy you stiff the creditors, and give up all your personal net worth. In a business bankruptcy, you stiff the creditors, and keep all your personal net worth.
“Trump has never filed personal bankruptcy. There is a difference between personal bankruptcy and corporate bankruptcy. But I guess you donât care”
“Trump has a peculiar way of speaking about bankruptcy: He has a deep aversion to the word itself. He speaks of ââ¬Åputting a company into a chapterââ¬Â without ever answering the implicit question: ââ¬ÅChapter of what? Moby-Dick?ââ¬Â The answer, of course, is the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, to which Trump has taken recourse at least four times over the course of his business career. The chapter in question is the famous Chapter 11, which applies to business bankruptcies. Trump proudly insists that he never has had recourse to Chapter 13, the personal bankruptcy code. This is his apparent justification for saying that heââ¬â¢s never been bankrupt. But of course one of the purposes of Chapter 11 bankruptcy is to keep men such as Donald Trump out of Chapter 13 bankruptcy.”
Trump lies.
