I’m sorry if the son doesn’t like the rumors, but when you or a family member are in the public eye, you have to realize there will be increased scrutiny. I think Scalia probably died a natural death, but it’s unfortunate there was no autopsy. There will be rumors and conspiracy theories for years to come.

IMHO, this is a big reason why autopsy should be mandatory in cases like this. There will always be those who would discount the findings of an autopsy, and not everything is apparent on an autopsy, but it would have gone a long way in preventing much of the speculation that’s been out there.

The quotes in this seem to from Laura ingraham’s radio show. Ingraham was clerk for Scalia at the Supreme Court.

He had a high position and n extremely high position

The family deserves privacy. The public de servers and has a need to know. And we don’t know

It was handled disgracefully

This furthers that

Additionally, this case screams partisanship. Not any liberal justice’s death would have been handled this way

Pretending that this mans death is inconsequential is silly

If the theory is that Obama wanted to stack the SCOTUS to the liberal side (for reasons we’re all too aware of,) why didn’t it happen between 2009-2015, in order to avoid this (lame duck) nomination and approval controversy? If their motive is true, why would they knowingly gift the Republicans with the means to block their intended objective in 2016?

Eugene is either a screaming liberal, or stupid, or both (but of course the former covers the latter).

The Scalia situation is a better argument for mandatory retirement, not autopsies on 80 year-olds.

Their ill advised decision not to perform an autopsy on their father will forever haunt the Scalia family.

Then stop the rumors...do the autopsy...this BS is going to continue for decades unless it is stopped now. This kid should be the last one to talk about conspiracy theories. The FAMILY is refusing the autopsy and that creates the conspiracy theory.

Eugene needs to get a mirror if he wants to see where the problem started.

Rumors that have fueled by the family taking the goofball track of refusing an autopsy.

If you do stupid things you get unpleasant consequences.

The son is grieving and he’s certainly entitled to that. His father was an icon of the conservative movement and was hated probably more than any other American by the commie/lib/ socialist/ abortion loving pukes in this country. Scalia’s remains demanded an autopsy to put to rest conspiracy theories that will be a part of American history. How does Putin take care of his enemies? A little pill in the food and it’s over.

It is so sad that the Scalia family cannot grieve in peace without having to deal with this lunacy.
