The US Senate has the power to affirm or reject any Presidential appointment for any reason they want.

Kurt also considers Alito the least able Justice in his lifetime and unfit for the SC. There’s no doubt he supported obama’s filibustering of Alito, or any of theOne’s refusals to honor specified constitutional responsibilities. A stupid hack is still just a hack.

Agreed. The appropriate Senate sub-committee should schedule an hour long hearing for the nominee about a week after she is named. At the conclusion of the hearing, they should vote to NOT send the name to the full committee. Be quick about it. Do not let the democrat media have an opportunity to advocate on behalf of their nominee.

I’m paraphrasing the US Constitution.

That is what the Constitution says.

If the Senate doesn’t want to confirm, they no obligation too.

And if the liberals don’t like it - well they can vote this Nov.

No doubt there is a video of Adolf Hitler’s reaction to the Republican refusal.

Hamiton wanted to use public debt for leverage against other nations.

He also favored a national bank, which is unconstitutional and has been vetoed at least 5 times in the past.

“Newsweek has never stood for limiting the power of the Federal Gov’t as understood by the Founders.”

That’s okay, Hamilton was never one for limiting the power of the Federal Gov’t either.
