Ted Cruz is getting hammered by his Republican rivals over what they call a pattern of unethical campaign tactics and inaccurate statements by the Texas senator who has shaped his White House bid around trust.
Cruz has had some trouble getting all his facts straight in debates, has used campaign tactics that some find suspicious and had an ad by an outside group temporarily pulled for questions about its accuracy. His opponents are blunter, calling him simply a liar.

Ted is great on the Constitution. Not quite as good with truth issues.
Last Sunday, church goers heard Cruz preach about the biblical role of government. Ted Cruz is an advocate of the New World Order.....Christian Dominionism Branch.
Coincidentally (cough), many of Cruz/s political positions.....like economic libertarianism and TPP....also fit into the far-out Dominionist teachings Cruz learned form his father/s preaching.
The elder Cruz preaches to Dominionist audiences, and tells his congregants that Rev 5:10 teaches that Christians are divided into Kings and Priests,.....the kings (politicians) go out and conquer the financial world and bring the money back to the priests (pastors in contemporary terms).
Ted and Heidi Cruz/s economic libertarianism also dovetails nicely w/ globalist Goldman/Sachs---who financed Ted into office .G/S is Heidi's $700,000 a year employer. So it looks like the Cruz/s have a head start in getting money back to the pastors.

Cruz's obvious integrity was his strength. That needed to be demolished.

He isn’t telling lies, but this is the media, Democrats, and GOPe’s line of attack to take him out. It started after Iowa with the manufactured, faux Carson “controversy” which was designed and orchestrated to damage Cruz. And FReepers jumped right in board. It was/is sickening to watch.
When the same tactics are turned on their guy the wailing will be epic.
Exactly. Cruz is far and away the most trustworthy person in his race and probably in Washington. (Carson would be the only possible exception). It’s his whole position as a man who went to Washington and fought for the exact things his voters sent him to do (a rarity in DC). The best way to take down a politician is to attack their biggest strength. It’s the same thing the Democrats did to Bush who won originally as a moral man of his word (contrast to Clinton). It took almost six years, but eventually they branded him a liar over the Iraq War. It took four full years of repetition before it stuck. This is what’s happening to Cruz and why Rubio is using the tactic now. Rubio has major consistency issues and he’s muddying the waters with his false immigration attacks starting a few debates ago.
He needs to stop acting like a preacher. He’s coming off as a televangelist at his SC rallies and I think that’s hurting him too.
He has a record, run on it. Stop talking about Trump.
By the time race is finished more than half the Republicans will hate Trump’s rotten stinking guts!
