Don’t be too quick to count this as a screw up. Look at all the other things that Donald Trump said in the last eight months that everyone thought were screw ups and they turned out to be brilliant.

.
Trump should quit running his toilet mouth and retire.

After his self destruction nobody is going to trust him to take out the garbage in the rain.

The opposite of dishonest is truth - therefore, he was saying that Cruz wasn’t telling the truth. He also said it was misleading - which means deceptive. What part of that don’t you understand? To be dishonest is to lie. Duh!

Just trying to separate out fact from fiction to see what is really going on, and having fun teasing the Tediban, Cruzadians, and Cruzbots in the process. ;-)

While certainly Obamacare is a big issue, it isn’t the top issues of the 2016 election.

The top right now and will continue to be:
The economy and jobs 27%
... this is followed by dissatisfaction with government and politicians, then terrorism and “immigration”.

Healthcare/Obamacare is now down to 4%.

The go to guy in the eyes of most of the Republican base is, and will continue to be, Trump on the economy as the Number One Issue at this time. I doubt that is going to change. Trump also was the center stage guy and the thunder train of the campaign regarding illegal immigration (which is precisely why he has been so severely attacked by the GOPe), and he has been outspoken about ISIS, terrorism and in support of our vets.

Let us see what happens in S.C.. If Trump wins, my prediction is it is over. The majority of the base feels Trump is going to be a tough guy as far as moving forward on these 3 issues of concern for America. He will no hesitate to use tough guy tactics with the Dems and the GOPe and that is why both want to do anything and everything to stop his nomination.

By the way - where does it say in the Constitution that there are 9 justices on the Supreme Court?

It doesn’t.

Congress decides. There were 5 in 1801. There were 10 in 1863.

There should be 11 under the Trump administration IMO, Trump should work with Congress to increase the number to two more and put in place those that reflect the constitution, and who understand that the Constitution of the United States is for OUR NATION, a Nationalist agenda, not a GLOBAL statement of rights or privileges to anyone who just wanders over the border(s).

How about foxes and torches? This is one of the reasons why I say that Donald Trump is a type of Samson:

Judgse 15
3 And Samson said to them, “This time I shall be blameless regarding the Philistines if I harm them!”
4 Then Samson went and caught three hundred foxes; and he took torches, turned the foxes tail to tail, and put a torch between each pair of tails.
5 When he had set the torches on fire, he let the foxes go into the standing grain of the Philistines, and burned up both the shocks and the standing grain, as well as the vineyards and olive groves.

You have the audacity to say this when Cruz does nothing but tell one lie after the other? Cruz has diarrhea of the mouth.

Well, here is what Coburn thought of Trump's lies:

"It's an absolute fabrication. I've never said that, period," Coburn told the Examiner. "It's unfortunate he would use my name to say something dishonest. It's a total fabrication."

"To me, it's more of loose play with the truth and loose play with the words," Coburn said.

How can a complete, unedited interview recording be a proven lie?

His critique was of Cruz’s tactics, he didn’t think Cruz and the House Republicans should fight to defund Obamacare since he didn’t think we could win. I would point out that that fight was the rallying cry that led eventually to us taking back the Senate (which may now protect us from losing the Supreme Court).

However, this part of the argument is meaningless. Sen. Coburn has directly rejected Trumps fake quote. Sen. Coburn said today “It’s an absolute fabrication. I’ve never said that, period”

LOL, keep spinning. Sounds like more of Cruz’s tactics, like, oh, how shall we say - Carson in Iowa? You people are too much, just too much. Cruz’s tactics are his speeches - duh!

Coburn squirms on this one rather dramatically, doesn’t he?

There is an avalanche of Coburn taking on Cruz for “misrepresenting” outcomes, flag waving for the folks, and accomplishing virtually nothing after the show boat performance run ends, but for another kind of run— for the highest office in the land, for the rubes to support.

A run of ads in all 50 states would end this Coburn dust up.
All of it is on the record and half of it on film! LOL!
