Dr. Jay Redd, son of Dr. Redd told me that he was charged with a crime for simply telling his dad’s story to a group of ATV riders that were participating in the Recapture Canyon ride.
I didn’t realize the Feds charged 5 people for the Recapture Canyon ride, but here is the gofundme statement.
The federal government has repeatedly demonstrated overreach and heavy-handed tactics in San Juan County. They have now singled out five individuals out of over 100 that participated in a peaceful protest earlier this year, and are charging them with crimes. It appears that they intend to make “examples” out of them in an attempt to subdue the rightful 1st amendment and other rights that we are all fighting for.
This fund is set up to help provide the individuals with the legal fees associated with defending themselves against the heavy hand of the federal government.
None of them requested this help, but the rest of us that participated in the protest, and everyone else who values individual and state rights, should stand with them and help them overcome this challenge.
Such a beautiful man and beautiful family, all of whom love and respect this country. For them to be torn apart at the hands of this oppressive and out of control government is hard for me to accept. The images of LaVoy with his family, loving his wife, dancing with his daughters and riding his range stand in such a stark contrast to the takers and thugs Obama and his administration chose to represent. I'm not going to get through this resentment for what has happened easily.

I hope the Finicum family takes a more seriously aggressive approach at a civil suit that causes a thorough investigation of the murder.
What a beautiful tribute. Watching this shows me the kind of man he was. we have lost a patriot, while not wearing fatigues, he was a soldier. RIP Mr. Finicum, I appreciate your service to this Republic and mourn our loss. May his family find comfort in the wake of his senseless murder at the hands of our own government and may we remember the sacrifice that he and his family made on our behalf.

I just found out about this yesterday. Congressman Stewart and Congressman Chaffetz were willing to discuss the following.

I think this could be important. Remember this happened on 1-22-16 and LaVoy Finicum was killed 1-26-16. I haven’t been able to listen to the entire thing yet but I have personally met Dr. Jay Redd. He only scratched the surface on the persecution he and his family have suffered at the hands of the BLM.
I would like people to call Congressman Stewart and thank him for being willing to hear the concerns of American Citizens. I called and I asked him to please speak out about the assault on the 3 people in the vehicle. The courts and the evidence will show what happened to LaVoy. However, set that aside and let’s focus on what has been done to all the other innocent Americans. This cannot be allowed to stand and become normal.
