Ironically, many of those problems are the direct result of the last Bush [that be W’s] presidency. That was when the economy crashed and the bailouts begain. And Team Obama has manipulated the figures for 7 years to make HIS [Obama’s] presidency ‘look’ successful, but the ‘real’ economy is still in the toilet.

Bryon York says on FoxNews the crowd that showed up were people wanting to see the former prez and not the typical Jeb crowd.

York continues, the people feel it is time to move on [beyond the Bush family].

Rush just wants to make sure that whichever Republican wins the nomination is not damaged so badly that he can't win the general. Therefore, he defends the candidates so that the circular firing squad doesn't end up losing the vote that really matters.

Rush is capable of thinking strategically. Unlike so many others who seem to think destroying other candidates is sound thinking.

I saw the “rally” on TV. I thought it was pathetic. Poor GW, not well dressed, strubbled up bad hair day, showing the wrinkles and creases in his kindly old face. Trying to appear pumped up and enthused for his pantywaist brother. IMHO, it probably did more harm than good. It had desperation painted all over it.
