Was that article cut off? I didn’t see anything about the impact of the numerous women who have come forward publicly and accused him of rape and sexual assault. I would think that would also be a factor, no?

Even if Obama doesn't get his choice on the SCOTUS, Ginsberg's 82, Kennedy is 79 and Breyer is 77. It's very possible that 2-4 judges might be picked by the next president.
Seriously, look at the Republican side for candidates. Do you think any of them will choose good justices?
A president is for 4-8 years. SC is for decades, as Scalia and Kennedy have proven. The 2 that Obama has already chosen are 55 and 61. They could be there for another 20-25 years

Very good - I heard another description of a trophy wife just a few days ago and of course, I’ve forgotten it...I think it was something like:
“Keep them on a shelf and don’t touch”
” . . . he loves his wife, and because he believes she is the best candidate in the race.“
OMG, I almost threw up when I read that.
“He’s doing it on purpose. Last thing he wants is his wife as president.”
I’ve often had the same thought.
No doubt he would but if she becomes president, her presidency will overshadow his. First female president and all.
After Barack became the first real black president, he’s just another white guy.
There’s no love lost between those two.
