NO, he didn’t lie. He had the same position here as did Clinton and Gore. That was the state of our ( and NATO’s) intelligence at the time.

A lie is when you say something you know is untrue at the time you say it. It requires a deceptive state of mind. I do not believe Bush lied. I do not know if U.S. intelligence knew and mislead him. The whole discussion is murky because Saddam had some chemical weapons at the time.

There seems to be a lot of people that have selective memory and want to ignore Bush saying that there were no WMDs in Iraq.
I thought they were there until Bush said this. After all this is Commander in Chief saying this after he originally said there were WMDs.
In that clip, Bush admits there were no weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq.
For him to have told a lie, he would have had to know that beforehand, and deliberately misrepresented the facts to get us into that war.
After watching that clip I came out with the conclusion Bush was still ignorant of Islam and its intentions.
