We had just been attacked by terrorists. Saddam had been challenging the UN 17 resolutions for years. Yes, 17 resolutions. Iraq had used WMDs in its war with Iran. We had already been at war with Saddam under HW (first Gulf War).

A lie is when you say something you know is untrue at the time you say it. It requires a deceptive state of mind. I do not believe Bush lied. I do not know if U.S. intelligence knew and mislead him. The whole discussion is murky because Saddam had some chemical weapons at the time.

Trump would lose handily in a 2-man Republican primary. The GOP is fractured, but Trump is not the answer. He does, however, count on thousands of votes from Democrats who are crossing over.

Those weapons were all over the place. The water in the river was contaminated from the dumping of those chemicals into it. They found tons and tons of those weapons in Iraq. Granted, many were not able to be used, but many were, and were used on THE KURDS! The weapons that may have been reliable were taken into Syria.
My best friend is suffering from the disposal of some of those weapons. Two tours in Iraq.
My memory was that there was NO NUCLEAR PROGRAM though they found some duel use stuff.

I think the 11 month warning allowed many things potentially to move out of Iraq.

President Bush is not the only person who believed there were WMD in Iraq. Let’s not rewrite history. Also, Barack Hussein is the one who surrendered Iraq.
