John Poindexter - I guess this is the guy who worked for the NSA under Reagan, who was indicted and found guilty in the Iran Contra deal. So we already know this guy can be compromised.
We don’t know who the other 35 guest were in the party.
Supposedly, Scalia had never been to the ranch before.
Supposedly, his son was to accompany him, but backed out at last minute. Would like to now what came up for the son to cancel this trip.
The only thing pointing to a natural death is Scalia’s age, yet he was considered healthy enough to make the trip to this remote resort in the first place.
If I were Justice Thomas, I would be cautious.

The theory that he might have killed himself doesn’t seem likely because why would he do it with Congress in a 10 day recess. He knew the stakes on a recess appointment.
I think it is quite likely that the family wanted to preserve his image and didn’t want his many illnesses made public.
But a pillow over the head? Sheesh. He should have just left that detail out because it has everyone spinning.
He is not the Poindexter that worked in the NSA. So you don’t already know he can be compromised.
This Poindexter is a different guy, ultra-successful Houston businessman and from reading the other threads, he sounds like an independent but still, a heavy contributor to Democrats.
I’d like to know who else was on the guest list there.
