Scalia Lumps Kelo Decision with Dred Scott and Roe v. Wade
ABA Journal ^ | 10/19/2011 | Debra Cassens Weiss

Posted on 02/14/2016 3:32:07 PM PST by ojeffers

Scalia ranked Kelo among the top cases in which the court made a mistake of political judgment, according to the Sun-Times account. The others were the Dred Scott v. Sanford decision in favor of a slave owner and the Roe v. Wade decision finding a constitutional right to abortion.

“My court has, by my lights, made many mistakes of law during its distinguished two centuries of existence,” Scalia said. “But it has made very few mistakes of political judgment, of estimating how far … it could stretch beyond the text of the Constitution without provoking overwhelming public criticism and resistance. Dred Scott was one mistake of that sort. Roe v. Wade was another. … And Kelo, I think, was a third.”

There are three or four VERY common ways to induce an untraceable heart attack. Maybe that’s why they didn’t need an autopsy. They are pros.

Two chemical compounds can be used to create a heart attack in anyone, while leaving no trace of a crime:

Potassium Chloride:

Potassium Chloride is known to be among the ingredients in many prescription drugs, such as: Klor-Con, Klor-Con 8, Klor-Con 10, and Klor-Con/25, among others. Potassium Chloride breaks down into both its’ individual components, potassium and chlorine. Both are found in the human body and the presence of either or both of these will not raise suspicion by either the attending physician or the coroner, who will carry out the autopsy.

This compound breaks down into both potassium and chlorine, in which the chlorine (Cl) binds with the human body’s naturally occurring sodium (Na) to create NaCl — sodium chloride — common table salt. The resultant heart attack is found to have no known cause — as all that is found in the body is a slightly elevated level of NaCl. Too much potassium in the body causes tachycardia (fast heart-rate), which then leads to something known as ventricular fibrillation, which is one of many types of cardiac arrest.

Calcium Gluconate:

Calcium Gluconate is available in a 10% hypertonic I.V. (intravenous) solution, which simply means that the concentration is higher than what normally appears in the human body. The process by which this works is known as osmosis — the hypertonic solution removes the water and glucose from the body’s cells — replacing it with Calcium Gluconate. The calcium and the glucose are deposited in the body to be used as energy/fuel. The glucose is used for fuel, while the calcium remains in the body.

The Calcium Gluconate removes chlorine and replaces it with calcium, thus creating an electrolytic imbalance. The three compounds that become imbalanced are sodium (Na), potassium (K), and chlorine (Cl). This interferes with the normal LUB-DUB heartbeat impulse, which can then be regulated either too fast or too slow, creating a heart attack.

When was this written? I am curious as to why the Obergefell v Hodges Opinion is not included (same-sex “marriage”).

...John Roberts, brought to us with the unqualified endorsement and recommendation of Rafael Cruzio. When he COULD have WARNED us, he joined in the fraud that led to the two traitorous SC decisions by Roberts.

Hit piece on Trump!

No, the "hit piece" on Trump was the overwhelming majority of voters who voted for state constitutional amendments, in Florida and in Virginia, to prohibit taking private property for private use.

I worked on getting the word out in Virginia on this, and handed out literature on polling day.

But then again, I'm a conservative.

Actually it is the excess potassium that stops the heart. Hyperkalemia is inducted with excess potassium delivered by the IV route and it is difficult, very difficult to discern with a postmortem sample.

I sit corrected. Thank you.

Kelo was a huge step towards Mussolini style statism.

It’s what Benito coined the term fascisimo to describe.

The ABA is a left wing organization. Make no mistake about it.

you say: “Hit piece on Trump!”

Good grief.

Can neither Trump nor you Trumpets own up to mistakes?

Trump is FOR kelo - . Even he doesn’t deny it - one thing there’s too much proof on. Altho’ he turns himself inside out to justify it, like his sycophants do in excusing any and all the things he does....But y’all will still defend him.

Hope you got you wet-suit on. That water’s liable to be cold - when you march over the end of that wharf - Momma’s used to read there children the fairy tales - that had lessons in them. Did momma never read you the Pied Piper?

For those with actual comprehension skills, it is clear that Scalia was predicting public outrage. That was the comparison. Sadly he underestimated he sheeple. I guess they are great with turning over their property to the state so long as they think they will personally come out ahead. So what if your neighbor’s property is taken.

"Kelo was a huge step towards Mussolini style statism."

I need clarification on this, but wasn't Joe Lieberman's wife a lobbyist for Pfizer at the time and this case was all kind of a go along to get along?

Worse Pfizer bagged out of Ann Arbor, thank G-D at least the property has been re-purposed a good deal of it to U of MI.

But as I understand it, not a dang thing has been done on the Kelo property site. That unto itself is a flippin' travesty...
