During the last two decades I have read everything I could get my hands on pertaining to health care policy. I also spent the longest two weeks of my entire life reading the PPACA – Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act – shortly after it was passed into law on March 23, 2010. I have also appeared on television,radio, and written expert commentary on health care policy on this blog and for professional business journals around the country. If there is one thing I know it is health care policy and if there is another thing I know it is a lie when I hear it.
I have bit my tongue long enough. As a delegate for Senator Ted Cruz I have been placed into a difficult and increasingly uncomfortable position and now I have had enough! Continuing to support Senator Cruz after he repeats incorrectly and ad nauseum that "A vote for Donald Trump is a vote for Obamacare" and, that "if you vote Donald Trump, you vote for Bernie Sanders-style socialized medicine."Â Or even worse that Trump, Clinton and Sanders "have the identical position on health care" has forced me into a crisis of conscience. These are statements that even the left leaning Politifact has correctly identified as FALSE.
There are two things I detest above all others. Lies and intellectual laziness. There are far too many of my fellow “Cruzers” who either refuse to do the necessary research on Mr. Trump’s health care proposals or are simply too lazy to simply read his actual policy proposals as outlined in both his books "Time To Get Tough" from 2011 and his latest book "Crippled America" from 2015. Therefore, I have linked the pertinent sections pertaining to Mr. Trump's actual health care policy proposals below.

Cruzers don’t even follow his rallies. Probably mad Glenn Beck is being used. Forced to endure the guy. They would rather skip him.

Whatever the position, Trump has held it at sometime. Therefore what ever the accusation, there is some denial some where... but also some support. You can’t pin down jello!
Whether he wants SP or not, he wants socialized medicine. He says he’s “going to take care of everyone”.
Only socialist governments try to “take care of everyone”.
I get that, however on multiple occasions trump has said he’s in favor of SP.
Just trying to figure this out, what is trump really for?

At best, we can say that he is all over the map on healthcare...of course, the Donald said today that he will be changing his persona, that the can easily change from being the potty-mouthed PT Barnum candidate to Presidential DJ Trump...this guy is a total joke and embarrassment...a product of the reality Tv cultural decay of our country...keep droning that Trump Kool-Aid!

Horse manure... we have taken care of “everyone” for more than a generation through emergency room visits.
People are responsible for taking care of themselves. It’s called personal responsibility. Once upon a time most people in this country believed that, some still do.
Geese everyone is taken care of now and was before Obamacare. That is what Medicaid does. The middle class has always paid. Even illegals are cared for through Medicaid.

Just another housekeeping note. If there are ANY of my fellow Cruzers who I have not blocked yet for declaring that you will not support Donald J. Trump EVEN IF he is our nominee will you please SELF DEPORT from this page? I’ll deport you if I find you but I’d rather you self deport. It’s more efficient. This isn’t Kindergarten for petulant children who are committed to staying home, stomping their feet & handing votes to Evil (Clinton) & Stupid (Bernie). The same holds true for any Trumpers who will not vote for Ted if HE is our nominee.
