Trash magazine Cosmopolitan announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with Bloomberg's Everytown for Gun Safety (I'm not going to link it) to push a gun control agenda.
The magazine will run a propaganda piece in the March issue called "Singled Out," warning single women they may be dating a man who is a firearms owner. And he may become "disgruntled."

I do not think this will go over well with the growing numbers of women gun owners.
Guess they got tired of writing about sex tips for 13 year olds.
I think the gun ban folks need to get a clue. Young women are arming themselves in spades. Its a growth industry at the moment. Their ‘plan’ isnt going to get many takers. So much the better if their boy friend is also armed.

If a woman is reading Cosmo it pretty much guarantees that she’s a Lib anyhow.

Does this mean Cosmo won’t be running any ads for stylish concealed carry gear?

I say that as a former Cosmo reader. Back in the 1970’s a guy like myself could score some good advice with what women were being taught by Helen Gurley Brown. And photos of young women in Cosmo in the ‘70’s were like Playboy in the ‘50’s, if you get my drift, with female readers being shown what they were supposed to aspire to.
The articles & book excerpts in early Cosmo made it high class literature compared to today’s 150 page makeup ad which is all Cosmo is now.
I would like to disabuse Cosmo of the notion that men get disgruntled. I’ve always been gruntled and fully intend to stay that way. I will admit to getting a bit ruffled at post #11. ;o)

Hmmm....you’re right, as I finally did scroll upward, but that gal can barely wrap her soft little hand around the double-stack. Someone needs to buy her a Ruger LCP.
And Cosmo needs to get with the times. If their readers are mainly urban chicks, then that’s where female self defense is needed most.

I can see the cover now: a hot babe with great cleavage and an empty holster and the lead story - “50 ways to have mind-blowing sex while turning your guns in”.
Or “50 Ways To Enjoy Common Household ‘Tools’ While Disarming”.
