In South Carolina, Marco Rubio accuses Ted Cruz of Iowa voter deception

Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio, coming off a fifth place finish in New Hampshire's Republican primary contest, slammed Ted Cruz for the rival campaign's deception of voters during last week's Iowa caucuses.

"His campaign was sending out recorded calls to activists in Iowa telling them Ben Carson has dropped out, inform everyone at the caucus site," Rubio told CBS News' Major Garrett Wednesday. "It was a concerted effort that I'm sure they planned to execute on something in order to influence the election."

Rubio was referring to the false rumor Cruz's campaign propagated by implying Carson was withdrawing from the presidential race, just as Iowa residents convened for caucus night. Carson blamed Cruz for his single-digit finish in the early-voting state, saying that the move was just another example of "Washington ethics" at work.

Marco will be much better served by coming home to Florida and running for governor in 2 years before he embarrasses himself.

He may very well have been a beneficiary of Dr. Carson’s wardrobe malfunction as well.

Didn’t Rubio’s campaign do the same thing?

Mario Rubco knows a thing or two about deceit.
He deceived people into believing he opposed amnesty to get elected to the Senate.
He tried to deceive all of us what was in that horrible Gang bill.
He tried to deceive people that he had changed his mind about amnesty.
He tells Spanish speaking audiences the opposite of what he says in English.

Rubarb has already announced he’s quitting his Senate seat. Why do we want to elect a quitter? If he hates that job, what makes him think he won’t get tired of the presidency? No quitters.

I only heard it once and I believed it. But then I saw cruz in action on TPA.

From what I’ve noticed, there are just as many FReepers from the Class of ‘98 that do the same thing

I criticized Cruz for his TPA vote months before Trump was in the race. However, I will also criticize Trump for sending his manufacturing to China, Bangladesh, and Mexico.

I don't like it ether, but competition is tough. If it is not a profitable venture then there is no reason to peruse it. So, is your point that he should not have been in the clothing business. Or do you think he should have taken a loss rather then be competitive? Maybe the best thing for Trump to do is change the environment so it makes good business sense to manufacture clothing in America. I wonder how he could do that?
