Trump comes in second in Iowa and is called a loser. Cruz comes in lower and he’s a winner?

Yup.

Yesterday was really a mixed bag. Assuming you are for Trump, and I am, it was very good news on the gop side.

It was absolutely horrible news for us on the ‘rat side. Hitlery is a candidate that Trump could definitely beat and cruz probably could beat. Not so with bernie. If he is the nominee, and it’s looking like he may well be, he will be a lot more formidable contender in the general than hitlery ever could be. Even on the rat side, hitlery is looked upon as a grifter and a company woman. She does not inspire. Bernie on the other hand? He appeals to their marxist little hearts. He can inspire. He can get them to show up so they can get “their share” of the swag.

People usually vote for what they perceive to be their own interests. The average household income in this country is slightly north of $50k. And it’s basically not going up. This isn’t 1980. A candidate who can persuasively promise to “soak the fat cats” is going to be a formidable opponent.

Sen. Cruz Files Additional Amendments to Immigration Legislation

Cruz 1324: Green Card (LPR) reform to modernize, streamline and expand legal immigration Provisions of his amendment include:

Doubling the overall worldwide green card caps from 675,000 visas per year to 1.35 million per year (not including refugees and asylees):

Employment-based green cards: Consolidates the 5 existing employment-based visas into a single high-skilled employment-based visa.

Family-based green cards: Creates a single family-based visa category that treats all immigrant families equally by redefining "immediate relatives" as "spouses, minor children, and parents of citizens or LPRs."

Treating immigrants from all countries equally by eliminating the diversity visa program and the per-country visa caps: Currently, immigrants of identical skill may experience drastically different wait times and burdens based merely on their country of origin. Not only is this inequitable, it hurts our ability to attract the best and brightest.

Reducing bureaucracy: Creates a user-friendly online portal where visa applicants can apply and obtain updates on their application.

Cruz 1325: Increase high-skilled temporary worker visas (H-1B visas) five-fold

This amendment would improve our nation’s legal immigration system by increasing the H-1B cap from 65,000 to 325,000. It would also help America retain the people it educates by authorizing dual-intent student visas and address the need for high-skilled labor by creating a block grant to promote domestic high-skilled workers.

Cruz 1326: Combines Cruz 1324 and Cruz 1325. Implements Green Card reform to streamline and expand legal immigration and increases high-skilled temporary worker visas five fold.

For completeness:

Cruz 1320: Create border security triggers that can be measured objectively by Congress and provide the resources and capabilities necessary to secure the border

Cruz 1321: Prohibit federal, state, or local entitlement benefits for those here illegally

Cruz 1322: Ensure that illegal immigrants who are given legal status under this bill are not given a path to citizenship

Cruz 1323: Combines Cruz 1322 and Cruz 1321. Provides that those who are granted legal status under the bill are ineligible for welfare and for citizenship

Cruz 1324: Green Card (LPR) reform to modernize, streamline and expand legal immigration

Cruz 1325: Increase high-skilled temporary worker visas (H-1B visas) five-fold

Cruz 1326: Combines Cruz 1324 and Cruz 1325. Implements Green Card reform to streamline and expand legal immigration and increases high-skilled temporary worker visas five fold.

Hillary is a horrible candidate, a phony and a liar and thoroughly corrupt (not that that bothers the demhole faithful). I have posted elsewhere my theory that Obama will not let her win, because he would become irrelevant, so the drip-drip-drip from the FBI will not stop. The Obama DOJ will hold this over her head and lower the boom at the proper time to take her out. The Clinton magic is gone (not that she ever had it, it was all Bill). If it even looks like Sanders got screwed out of a fair chance (like in NH, he crushes her and comes away with fewer delegates?) many Bernies will stay home rather than flock to Hillary. She has nothing left but the race and gender card and the msmwhores working 24/7 to destroy Cruz. That may work, but I do not think so this time. It will look desperate. Cruz will appear (because he is) rational and intelligent, calmly explaining his positions while politely disputing criticism and fending off the attacks. She will appear (because she is) vicious & vacuous, desperate and shrill. He will utterly destroy her in a one on one debate. None of this would matter if we were coming off 8-years of a R administration, whether they were good or bad times, and 8 years of relentless msmwhore hackery (see 2008). But now we’re coming off of the worst 8 years since the 1970s. How many times has a party won 3 consecutive WH terms? Reagan/Bush and 4FDR are the only 2 that come to mind. So the hope and change is gone as well. In 2008 Obama was new, optimistic, fresh (and clean as JB says) and the first AA president! Libholes swooned! Hillary is old, stale and so obviously full of $hit. I just don’t see her pulling this off. In the 2014 wave election many congressional districts had 10 point swings. Even rock-solid D districts with lifelong dems had these swing. Some of the old dinosaurs routinely reelected by 30% “only” won by 20%. All that said, I can reasonably see 5 to 10 point swings.

Obama won the following with less than 55% in 2012:

CO, FLA, IA, MI, MN, NV, NH, NM, OH, ORE, PA, VA, WI

These put 153 EVs in play (OK, I didn’t do the math earlier and maybe 300 is way too optimistic). Romney had 206, so Cruz would need 64 of these 153. Obama won FLA, OH & VA by 1.1% or less....that’s 60. He needs 4 ......

Obama won CO, IA, NH & PA 2% or less....MN, NV, NM, WI by 3% or less. Anyone of these puts him over the top.

Its along way off and a lot can happen, but I don’t see why many think it’s impossible for Cruz to beat the old witch.

I did forget something that would change all of this...we will probably have the establishment republicans working alongside the mediawhores to destroy Cruz.
