Rush left open the Trump Option which is:

If defeating the Uniparty is your highest priority, then either Trump or Cruz are fine.

OR

If defeating Hillary is your highest priority, then you may correctly feel that Trump has the best chance of doing that.

“Conservative Orthodoxy is embodied in the modern Republican party.”

Where?

He may be the best conservative, but

Is he electable in the general? - iffy

Is he the best on immigration? - No

So a court ruling on it wouldn’t be Constitutional?

Sounds like you don’t care what the law is when it doesn’t agree with your interpretation.

..I would add people of faith who extend their Judeo-Christian world view to all areas of life, including the political arena—without apology...

Conservatism is not my top priority. Saving the country is. What good is pure ideology without the leadership qualities that would be necessary to carry the principles out?

Trump is running on conservative issues. As the cliche accurately has it, most of these issues would not be mentioned were it not for Trump.

Trump is putting his money where his mouth is. That use to mean something.

Cruz goes about collecting large sums of money from groups that oppose his campaign rhetoric. What do they know? No one passes out money to a politician that they know will oppose their lobby efforts.

Not very “conservative” to fund your Senate campaign using margin loans. But the race will only happen in 9-12 max states so any national polling is irrelevant. It is how it will play in Ohio and Florida that matters.

Rush is no better than mainstream media, trying to control his listener’s vote.

Rush is an analyst and conservative commenter...his is an opinion show.

He is not the MSM who hides behind "objectivity", he as always been very clear about who he is.

It's funny to watch the fickleness around here though when he gets thrown under the bus because he didn't say what posters wish they could have said.

Rush hasn’t spent a dime of his own money saving this nation.

He’s a f’n jerkoff.

Rush, if that is your only factor in whom you vote for, yes, Cruz is genuine. But if you took the absolute finite at deck chair on the Titanic and put it in front of all the others, you’re still going down.

The most important issue this election is saving our country from a global oligarchy that wants our borders non existent and doesn’t care about our constitution at all.

Aside from a bloody civil war, the only chance we have is to elect a patriotic, passionate billionaire who will be able to avoid both carrots and sticks from the rulers.

Cruz has no chance to win the general.

“Rush all-in now for Cruz campaign. Tells his listeners IF they are indeed conservatives, they have to vote for Cruz.”

I finally broke down and listened to Rush for tow hours today. All I could take. I won’t be back for awhile. He was twisting things to support his candidate.

The globalist cabal (Rush also)1 poured big money into a Republic-con agenda that falsely hoodwinked average conservatives into what became the mantra of global corporatism. We allowed those $%@#$%ers to sell us a bill of goods that what was good for GE Global was good for conservatism and America. It turned out it was good only for a handful of CEOs and bankers while it was bad for debt, the economy, security and sovereignty.

On the other side of the political coin they rigged the Democrats into believing open borders and illegal immigration and sanctuary cities were a liberal cause.....when all it did was make Americans poorer and benefited the cheap labor lobby. There would be no need for minimum wage if American citizens had the right to compete only with legal labor, instead of illegals.

Trump was the wake-up call on immigration and so called free trade that the D/R establishment fears.

“Trump is by far the most conservative candidate in both deed and platform”

************

You must be from CO or WA cause you’re smoking some mighty fine weed to think that.

Thanks for adding this. Rush is right, except that he isn’t thinking of how Cruz could be led to do the oligarchy bidding. Cruz has small children he may not be able to independently protect. I would happily vote for Cruz if he is our nominee, but I don’t think he is for 2016. Later.
