FROM HOTAIR:

But that’s not the sort of reaction which caught the attention of everyone else. The pro-abortion community, as embodied by NARAL, found the ad disgusting because it portrayed the fetus as (*gasp*) a person who might want some snack chips. Sarah Rumpf at National Review explains.

What's causing controversy is the portrayal of that unborn baby as one with an actual human personality. As NRO's Jay Nordlinger noted earlier, the ad dares to portray the unborn child as human, and "not a meaningless blob of protoplasm."

The pro-abortion activist group NARAL tweeted its disapproval, criticizing Doritos for "using #antichoice tactic of humanizing fetuses."

#NotBuyingIt – that @Doritos ad using #antichoice tactic of humanizing fetuses & sexist tropes of dads as clueless & moms as uptight. #SB50

— NARAL (@NARAL) February 8, 2016

By showing a "fetus" as not a "clump of cells" but a tiny human being, Doritos exposed the weakness of the pro-abortion worldview: The commitment to denying the humanity of the unborn child is in conflict with basic common sense. Those who prefer to describe their side as "pro-choice" cannot tolerate any evidence that shows the human life that "choice" could be ending.

Humanizing human fetuses makes it harder to justify murdering them. It’s so much easier to commit murder if you consider your victims to be sub-humans. History is full of examples too many to cite.

Of course unborn babies have personality. When I was pregnant last year (DD is 5 months)she would respond in utero to certain music, time of day, she would fall asleep (stop kicking) in the car (Dr was a 4 hr drive because it was a high risk pregnancy), I have a pic of her facepalming in the womb, she would suck her fingers (not her thumb). Also she would wake up and start kicking when we went into restaurants or got excited discussing food.

I went into labor one hour after having Ethiopian food and even after she was born she would get upset if she could smell food we were eating and she wasn’t nursing. I gave birth to a foodie.

"sexist tropes of dads as clueless"

They've been doing that for more than fifty years - my dad used to complain about it when I was a kid - but when did any feminist ever criticize that until yesterday?

"using antichoice tactic of humanizing fetuses."

Fetuses are human, and undeniably so late in pregnancy, as depicted in the commercial. Contrary to the claims of some feminists, they are not "fish".

Questions...

Will the feminazis now demand a boycott of doritos?

Will Doritos apologize?

No comment is possible about this. Nukes from orbit are possible, but no comments.

Are these the same people who call their dogs and cats "fur babies"?
