As someone pointed out on another thread, with 30,000 emails this involves a lot of the administration more than likely.

If this was a republican administration it would bring down the whole thing. Democrats will not let it see justice and the msm will cover it up for them. Lynch is not stepping aside. It might ruin her carrier but she is the last stop of this train wreck.

I’m leaning towards them indicting.

Get Hillary out of the race, get Biden in. Lynch gets to stay on as Biden’s AG.

If Biden puts Warren on the ticket (as mentioned in the Carl Bernstein thread) everyone will forget Hillary exists and Bernie will be checkmated.

Nice and neat.

.......if Obama determines it is in his best interest to give the nod to Lynch to indict Hillary, he will.

If he determines it is not in his best interest, he won’t indict her.

“You think maybe she has already told the Clintons ‘If I get thrown under the bus about this, you both are coming with me’?”

The last guy that did that died in a plane crash that he survived. The only other survivor, who was uninjured at the site of the crash, nonetheless managed to bleed out on the way to the hospital.

“It might ruin her career, but she is the last stop of this train wreck.”

Do criminals call someone like that a “cutout,” or is that just spies?

If the FBI finds sufficient evidence to launch a criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton or one of her top aides for mishandling classified information, Lynch's Justice Department will have to decide whether or not to press ahead. Even if no evidence of wrongdoing is found, Clinton's many critics are unlikely to take the word of an appointee of President Obama's, and will doubt that justice has been served. Already, top Republicans are calling for a special prosecutor to be brought in and evaluate the situation. No. 2 Senate Republican John Cornyn (Texas) took to the floor of the Senate last week to call for a special counsel to be appointed "because of the conflict of interest by asking Attorney General Lynch to investigate and perhaps even prosecute somebody in the Obama administration."

Hillary dragged the 1/2 white house into this when she sent the first message from her unsecured non-government server to President Obama’s un secured , secret, off the books e mail account

Fixed it for you

“[Comey] is a lifelong civil servant and will do nothing to hurt his pension.”

If Comey recommends that HRC be indicted, and the Justice Department declines to indict, and Comey resigns in protest, he will not lose his pension.

“”And given the scope of those involved, you can’t trust a special prosecutor appointed in this administration anyway.””

That’s for sure.....It’s been so long since we’ve had one that I’ve forgotten just how they do get appointed. I know the special prosecutor law was done away with years ago so I wonder what would need to be done to get it active again - Congress? Ah Ha! It IS up to Congress....

Check this out:

“”A special prosecutor generally is a lawyer from outside the government appointed by an attorney general or, in the United States, by Congress to investigate a government official for misconduct while in office. A reasoning for such an appointment is that the governmental branch or agency may have political connections to those it might be asked to investigate. Inherently, this creates a conflict of interest and a solution is to have someone from outside the department lead the investigation””

Wouldn’t it be great to have another Saturday Night Massacre? That involved firing a special prosecutor (we have to get one first for this situation) and two AG’s resigning...one AG and one Deputy AG.. That would shake up this election year. Be fun to watch! Better than listening to Hillary screech and Bill whining!
