Jeb Bush insists this is not the final weekend of his presidential campaign. But it has the makings of a last stand.
"I don't give a you-know-what about whether I'm popular or not. That is fleeting," he told 700 people in a middle school gymnasium here on Saturday, his largest New Hampshire crowd to date.
A year since he began traveling the country in pursuit of the presidency, Bush is no longer always campaigning "joyfully," as he originally pledged. He has grappled with a long, slow fall from front-runner to also-ran status, enduring relentless insults from Donald Trump and suffering a sixth-place showing in the Iowa caucuses last week.
In New Hampshire, Bush and his team want to top Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a result that would jump-start his campaign and help him emerge as a leading alternative to Trump. Christie is fading, but Kasich is tied or ahead of Bush in recent polls. And Rubio has surged after placing third in Iowa, so Bush is lobbing fresh attacks at his Miami neighbor.

You Freepers are just going to have to get over the Bush thing ... I am who I am ... I'm in the "establishment" because my brother was a president and my dad was a president ... when I woke up in Midland, Texas as a teeny, tiny baby, I woke up my little eyes and there she was, Barbara Bush ... and that's why I deserve your vote ... cause I give a great stump speech!
Please let it be so!!!
We can only hope................
Now, please clap!
Bush said he did not need the conservative base to win the primary. He may still win but it certainly will not be with their support.
If Bush drops out...who will he endorse?
Trump? Not a chance.
Rubio? Don’t think so.
Cruz? Hard to fathom.
Christie? Maybe...but would Christie want that endorsement.
No more Bushes, no more Clintons and no more “community organizers.”
The Mexican candidate was dead when Trump tagged him as the “low energy candidate.” Over done.
I hear Bush got a question from Yahoo News about his logo.
As a result it’s being changed from Jeb! to Jeb? or Jeb$.
BTW, didn’t Hillary use the exclamation point when she ran against OBozo?
He does no how to draw a crowd.
“Please clap.”
I’m certain he has better things to do.
I don’t know, Jeb has burned through an awful pile of political capital as well as campaign cash, and his Right to Rise PAC supporters are beginning to look for the exit.
Pretty low return on investment, there.
Let’s Hope!
No, he has got an unlimited war chest of money from the Washington Insiders that want to keep their Nation Destroying agenda in place.
I doubt it. My guess is Jeb hangs around at least through Florida.
Sure hope so.
