When Trump's threat to sue made the headlines, a hundred million people discovered the name and the profession of Jeff Roe and Axiom Strategies. From now on anyone hiring them slimes himself with the malodorous reputation of stealing delegates from the nicest guy in the race - Carson. Cruz won, but Trump got even by taking 50% off the value of the Axiom Strategies brand if the guy has not bankrupted himself altogether. Might as well go collect empty cans on the street at this point.

That kind of publicity cost Trump not a dime. Trump dropped it, but a lot of voters won't.

I am saying reality is what it is. I am saying that Carson made a rookie tactical blunder and the Cruz campaign tried to exploit it. Have you found any Carson supporters it worked on? I hear a little hearsay. Here again, by now Carson should have testimonials from his duped supporters.

It's how the game is played and will always be played until men become angels.

I would also offer that the relentless attention to this tempest in a teapot as a stick to beat Cruz with is a patent effort to defeat the Conservative. And that it is shameful to see FReepers just delighted to join in.

My reading of all of Jim's messages I have seen discourages this.

But, many don't seem to care about that, either.
