Why even have a Border Patrol at all? Or a border, for that matter.
President Obama promised transformational change and he has delivered on that promise. In fact, with less than a year left to his presidency, Obama will likely be pulling out all the stops he can. Now, in an abrupt reversal of policy, U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents are being instructed to release illegal immigrants captured at the border and not force other illegal immigrants to appear at deportations hearings.
The Washington Examiner reports that the stand-down order also includes a requirement that "the whereabouts of illegals released are not to be tracked":
"We might as well abolish our immigration laws altogether," suggested agent Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council.
Testifying on the two-year border surge of immigrant youths, Judd said the policy shift was prompted by Obama administration "embarrassment" that just over half of illegals ordered to appear in court actually do.
"The willful failure to show up for court appearances by persons that were arrested and released by the Border Patrol has become an extreme embarrassment for the Department of Homeland Security. It has been so embarrassing that DHS and the U.S. Attorney's office has come up with a new policy," he testified before the immigration subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee.
The biggest change: Undocumented immigrants are no longer given a "notice to appear" order, because they simply ignore them. Judd said that Border agents jokingly refer to the NTAs as "notices to disappear."
He said the the new policy "makes mandatory the release, without an NTA, of any person arrested by the Border Patrol for being in the country illegally, as long as they do not have a previous felony arrest conviction and as long as they claim to have been continuously in the United States since January of 2014. The operative word in this policy is 'claim.' The policy does not require the person to prove they have been here which is the same burden placed on them during deportation proceedings. Instead, it simply requires them to claim to have been here since January of 2014."
"Not only do we release these individuals that by law are subject to removal proceedings, we do it without any means of tracking their whereabouts," Judd said:
"Agents believe this exploitable policy was set in place because DHS was embarrassed at the sheer number of those who choose not to follow the law by showing up for their court appearances. In essence, we pull these persons out of the shadows and into the light just to release them right back to those same shadows from whence they came."
He added that if government agencies like DHS or CBP are "allowed to bypass Congress by legislating through policy, we might as well abolish our immigration laws altogether."
One truly has to ask what is to be gained by enforcing reckless policies like these except to tear the nation asunder.
All under cover of election hysteria, the Obama has morphed again into the lawless one.
So, doing exactly what Trump has been saying in his recent Speeches. I’m shocked I tell you, shocked!
This is the coming attraction for...
OBAMA III: The Rubio Presidency!
Oath of office spit upon. Rule of law ignored. Sounds like treason. Congress? Yeah, right.
But we knew this was coming with him, right?
If he doesn’t like a law, he simply stops enforcing it.
To him, Invasion is a Civil Right...as long as the invaders are non-whites.
Anyone tries to stop it, he’ll prosecute them.
There’s a word for that...starts with a T.
Don’t Show Trump This : All U.S. Job Gains Since Dec. 2007 Have Gone To Foreign-Born Workers

With the Fed on the verge of a full relent and admission of policy error, the Fed’s “data (in)dependent” monetary policy once again takes on secondary relevance as we progress into 2016. However, even with the overall job picture far less important, one aspect of the US jobs market is certain to take on an unprecedented importance.
We first laid out what that is last September when we said that “the one chart that matters more than ever, has little to nothing to do with the Fed’s monetary policy, but everything to do with the November 2016 presidential elections in which the topic of immigration, both legal and illegal, is shaping up to be the most rancorous, contentious and divisive.”
We were talking about the chart showing the cumulative addition of foreign-born and native-born workers added to US payrolls according to the BLS since December 2007, i.e., since the start of the recession/Second Great Depression.
As usually happens, it is precisely this data that gets no mention following any job report. However, with Trump and his anti-immigration campaign continuing to plow on despite the Iowa disappointment, we are confident that the chart shown below will soon be recognizable to economic and political pundits everywhere.
And here is why we are confident this particular data should have been prominently noted by all experts when dissecting today’s job report: according to the BLS’ Establishment Survey, while 151,000 total workers were added in January, a number which rises to 615,000 if looking at the Household survey, also according to the same Household survey, a whopping 567,000 native-born Americans lost their jobs, far less than the 98,000 foreign-born job losses.

One of the issues before SCOTUS now ( on the illegal amnesty case) and effects this illegal order is when is the Constitutional “Faithful Discharge” of the laws of the United States violated by the president. The principle of Prosecutorial discretion does not apply to entire statutes enacted by Congress and signed into law by a president. It applies only to discretionary application of the law on a case by case basis depending on such things as individual case facts or case load. To simply ignore the immigration laws that are passed is as repugnant as making up a new law. The SCOTUS case will ratify the constitution or destroy it. Always remember that our new republican president will also have a “pen and a phone” Obama is a dictatorial tyrant who should have been removed by impeachment but for the flaccid republicrat weaklings.
How far will America let this go without doing something????
When will we have a voice???
When will we have a media???
I never imagined I would ever see our country fall so far so fast....
It certainly seems to add up to a psychological lure.
The ability to physically police the border never was very great, sans a Trump-type wall.
They see America looking soft and go in for spoils.
What’s that Chinese curse about living in interesting times?
Although God can transform the circumstances of a curse into one of a blessing. It just takes belief without a bunch of philosophical hemming and hawing around it.
The voice we need is God’s.
It’s up to us whether we are asking that voice to speak up or to shut up.
But consequences can’t be avoided. If God does not speak the devil will.
But go ahead and shoot ranchers for occupying a shed in the middle of nowhere.
I wonder if our biggest problem is not Dems who hate God, but (mutando mutandis) Republicans?
Who’s staffing these assaults?
I mean... so many Dems don’t even appear to realize there is a God to hate.
He’s got to let as many in as possible before Trump takes over.
Illegal order, IMO.
No doubt.
Did you catch the reason he did it?
Since the Obama Administration has been embarrassed by those formerly registered and released who failed to show up their hearings, they’ve decided to stop being embarrassed by...not catching them at all. That way they don’t miss hearings.
It’s like unemployment. After a month of inactivity, drop those folks from the rolls of those seeking jobs. Not because they’ve found a job, but because they don’t count anymore.
Creative bookkeeping.
Amazing!
It's as easy as 1-2-3!!!
And we’re allowing it to happen.
And our circular firing squads will continue it.
Hillary or most of the Republican candidates will continue it or something like it.
