Hillary Clinton has been speaking in public for decades. But in recent days, political observers have called her voice "loud, flat, harassing to the ear." They have said she has a "decidedly grating pitch and punishing tone" and called her "shrill."
"I think a lot of it with Hillary Clinton has to do with style and delivery, oddly enough," said Bob Woodward, the veteran Washington Post editor, on MSNBC on Wednesday. "She shouts," he said, adding that there was "something unrelaxed about the way she is communicating."
Mrs. Clinton, who admits she does not have the natural oratory skills of her husband or President Obama, has been tailoring her voice and tone for years. But only in recent days has her speaking style been thrust back into a heated debate about women, sexism and public speaking.

It is sexist for you bad old Freepers to comment about the World's Smartest Woman's harassing, shrill, grating and punishing voice ... or her cackle ... or her drinking problem ... or her big butt ... or her cankles ... or her age ... or old crusty ... or some of the innocent ethical lapses that have ensnared her from time to time ... or her lack of accomplishments ... or her inability to satisfy Bubba ... or her relationship with Huma ... or for anything else!
If this was 1939, she’d be hired to take Margret Hamilton’s film character in the Wizard of Oz.
When she raises her voice, I have to hit mute, worse than nails on a chalkboard.

The comment about her I’ve always liked is “She’s every man’s first wife.”

IN LAST NIGHT’S DEBATE, HILLARY TRIED TO BE CHARMING.
Hillary as the Wicked Witch could never get her broomstick off the ground. She’d go inverted & crash on takeoff.
As for voice, I’d rather listen to the Wicked Witch any day. She had the best lines in the movie & could beat Hillary in the primaries.
Hillary has brain damage and Broka’s aphasia.
on top of that, just plain old age raspiness.

A Bill Clinton story I heard was that Bill was holding baby Chelsea while the Hildebeest was screeching at him. As he rocked the baby, he sang to the tune of Brahms’ Lullaby: “I want a divorce, dear baby, I want a divorce...”
Can you imagine this country if she becomes president?

Her voice is annoying.
Not only does that voice drive me nuts, but also that horrible cackle. And what’s with these constant hand gestures? She is the worst candidate ever.
Ironic, is it not, that a woman who has no discernable talent and no agreeable quality has achieved riches due ONLY to her man.
And, her man is a loathsome grifter with only one talent...the ability to schmooze folks of both sexes.
And THIS is what liberals push as their best?
I have it on authority that Margaret Thatcher took elocution lessons to temper her ‘condescending’ speech patterns. It worked. I WISH we had a Margaret Thatcher in this country. So far, no woman has surfaced to claim that mantle.
I watched a bit of the Sanders-Clinton debate this morning and I heard Hillary play her “woman card” against Bernie when he called her part of the establishment. Her indignation was almost comical, when she indignantly and condescendingly claimed she wasn’t part of the establishment because she’s a woman running to be the first woman president of the United States. As a woman I found it embarrassing. It was like she was pulled her pants down in public and yelled “Look I’m a girl.” She said nothing about her values, her accomplishments, her ideals, or anything else, which she believes/thinks make her NOT part of the establishment. Then again, she is part of the liberal, leftist, Democrat establishment so what else could she do, but run a distraction play using the “Look, I’m a girl.” card in order to distract from giving a well thought out answer.
They have worked on her face until it is now the Celebrity Mask, nothing moves except the lips, that plastic surgeons should not be proud of. But that nasty voice is still there, shrill and grating as ever. Can you imagine listening to that for four years? Obama’s whistling s sounds drive me up the wall, but Hillary’s voice could be used instead of waterboarding to elicit confessions.
