Reminds of a video i saw, a fella took a chunk of pork, ties it with very fine fishing line and threw it out in a flock of ducks.

Donald J Trump raised $10 billion.

Likely all from the DNC. They don’t want to run against Trump.

And you’ll find a lot of small donations from a lot of people who love our country.

Obama had more small donations than Cruz
That's good mentor to follow

Which would you prefer?
A. the rough edged, often intrusive and ugly facts of life raising money by the $50 and $100 increment, or
B. the invisible, often corrupt raising o money by the millions
Up to you.

Not sure what you’re saying. Are donations from lots of common Americans a bad thing?

While part of me wants to admire the $3 Large since Iowa, and a total of $9 or $10 Large in 2016 so far that Cruz has raised; another part of me says, that just locks him that much tighter in chains to the lobbyists, crony capitalists and other deep pockets entities who donated.....and at some point will be demanding their slice of the pie.
While discussing this problem recently, someone said, “Oh, so you’re saying that only those rich enough to self-finance, like Trump, are qualified to run for high office?”
No, I’m not advocating that. But that scenario is the very cause and reason why we conservative thinking people gave the Rs multiple majorities in several recent elections, and those we elected went to DC and immediately voted FOR the entire agenda of the other side, and did NOTHING to advance our cause. Because they’d been bought and paid for before they even arrived in DC, or wherever, and took their Oath of Office.
Because the political system, as it currently exists, puts the politician in bondage to the entities who paid for his ride. And don’t forget the other side of the coin. Obunga is doing and saying the things he has and does, because that’s what Soros, the Saudis and others who paid for HIS ride demand.
However, in Obunga’ case, he takes joy in abandoning Christians, promoting muslims and islam, destroying our military, destroying family structures and values, destroying the economy, etc. In his case, the deep pockets are merely paying him to do what his perverted, scheming heart WANTS to do anyway.
But what makes anyone think Cruz can break the chains and break up the Corrupt Bastards Club when nobody else ever has?

There has been no end of phone calls from the Republican operatives seeking funds for their specific candidates, Cruz included. Having “caller ID”, we no longer answer those calls.

This guy raises money like crazy. I was in TX when an uncommitted, but generally pro-Cruz money guy told me “I just got hit by our boy again.”

While part of me wants to admire the $3 Large since Iowa, and a total of $9 or $10 Large in 2016 so far that Cruz has raised;
Average amount of a Cruz donation: $67.
Number of donors to Cruz campaign, over 600,000
That list of donors from the big banks etc. that gets posted regularly comes to about $2.5 million, a small farction of Cruz' total take.
I get MORE than my fair share of attempts to induce guilt for fund-raising. They are similar to ones I've gotten in the past from Alan Keyes, Gary Bauer and Pat Buchanan (who promised to be my "Special friend". I know the real Pat can write better than that!)
So, after a couple of initial donations, I try to "train" the fund-raisers by NOT donating when I get a desparation plea. I DID pony up when Cruz won Iowa. As Cruz has money in the bank, I pay for performance.
I know the big money goes to the PACs, but the PACs have so far been holding back on spending the money. So far it has worked. The actual campaign raises small dollar amounts from people like me, who also donate time as well as money. The big money boys generally don't care for Cruz, as he is not terribly malleable.
