I don’t know about you, but one foreign born pres is enough for me. Do we really want a guy from a family of Cubans from Canada as POTUS? I want an AMERICAN.

And what about this?

If current trend holds, the number of Cubans seeking entry through Laredo will be about 24,700 this fiscal year. That’s about 60 percent more than 2014’s 15,600 and nearly twice as many as 2013’s 12,445.

The influx of Cubans to Texas is a result of the Obama administration’s efforts to normalize relations with the communist Castro regime, said Marc Rosenblum, deputy director of the U.S. Immigration Policy program at the Migration Policy Institute, a Washington-based think tank.

Obama’s Ordering the border guards to stand down and let illegals in from S America and Cuba assures Democratic vote to keep them in power from now on- not to mention the billions of dollars it cost to take care of them for most of them will be on welfare.

I’m sure most Cubans are good people, but we need to take care of our own first. Our elders and veterans, to name just a few, are suffering. Our hiways and bridges are falling apart.
We are 19 Trillion dollars in debt.
We cannot take care of the whole world.

How would Cruz feel/do about THIS?

The birther claim is sticky. 28% believe it today.
25% will believe it five years after Cruz is dead.
I’m afraid Trump fired a fatal bullet with that one.

Not hard to predict at all. Fact is, Cruz will not carry one state that Romney didn’t. Has nothing to do with being conservative. Nobody outside of Cruz’s rabid followers finds anything remotely appealing about him.
____________________________________________________________

Given Trumps 60% negative rating nationally what state that Ronmey won would Trump have a chance to win?

Especially his 100% name recognition?

If you want to play THAT game perhaps we should elect Rubio.

BTW you could make this same inane argument against Reagan, perhaps you are too young to realize this.

Thinking Electoral College--There are 9-13 states in play. Of course, he will get Texas. But Missouri? Maybe. NM? With his bad Spanish probably not. Nevada? Nope. NC? Again, Bad Spanish but some evangelical support so maybe. Virginia? No. Florida? Maybe not. Wisconsin? No. Iowa? Probably not. Pennsylvania? No. Ohio? Probably not. Colorado? Probably not.

Never missed an election but would have a real problem holding my nose and voting for him. He's creepy and I don't think that he could attract young women and there are 54,000,000 single women in America. Can't imagine any black support and Hispanic support is iffy at best. If the evangelicals really get out the vote (and only 25% of them do vote) it might help but may not be enough to counter the anti-Cruz pro-Hillary forces.

He was born in Canada and will be disqualified by a shopped federal judge. Then the Republican Delegates will vote Rubio at the RNC convention.

That’s what you Cruzbots don’t understand. You can’t think more than one move ahead. Trust me that’s what the GOPe along with the DNC will make sure happens.

Then we will all get 8 more years of Obama policies which will finish the USA as we know it.

Say hello to Amnesty.

Have you seen how many young women who normally would vote leftist; the ones who learn the story of Hillary's husband's womanizing, and her going after them to protect him, how they flee her in droves when they find out? And they will find her out if the (R) candidate has a pulse.

She has no protection like the bamster did, none.

She's a horrendous candidate, she's the DNCe version of Jeb without ANY competition.

No. For the same reason it didn’t work on McCain.

Give it a rest.

Trump is not liberal. He is the strongest American in the group to get things done with the wall, immigration and the economy.

I’ve read that, and hope it is true. I agree she is a terrible campaigner - shrill, vacuous, deceitful. I worry about the Electoral College map, though.

I just now heard a figure on a TV news program that 70% of young women who are polled for the democrat nomination are voting for Bernie.

70%.

That's a huge figure. And telling.

I'm not concerned with the electoral map, because unless something changes, it's going to be a blow out (well, unless it's Jeb or Kasich, which ain't happening).

I'm more concerned with current damage being done by the bamster, and the landmines that the future (likely R) president will be dodging on a daily basis.

Romney was a terrible candidate that offered no bold, exciting, new solutions and seemed to lack any core values. Cruz would win a lot of states that Romney lost. Why would he not be able to do as well as Bush in 2000 or 2004?

Trump has New York Values. He ranked 5th in Iowa polls for the people who said they wanted to vote for a candidate who shared their values. Everyone knows what Trump’s values are. You’re not fooling anybody.
