"You do come to appreciate the good faith of the people with whom you work."

What a naive fool. There is no compromise in working with destructive tyrants like Ginsberg, Sotomayor, Kagan, or Breyer. These constitution-hating leftists have no good faith. Rather, they want to see idiots like Roberts destroyed.

Also, Roberts, when you and your colleagues cannot parse correctly the six words "an exchange established by the state" then you and your fellow tyrants deserve all the abuse heaped upon you. Or, when you come up with gay marriage, usurping God's role, overturning the clear will of the people, and destroying common-sense customs derived over thousands of years, you out yourselves as politically-driven tyrants and knaves.

Roberts, you really are an out of touch jackass.

Being a weak-willed, political weathervane of a Chief Justice also damages the public perception of the Supreme Court.

Having John Roberts write both sides of the first Obamacare decision damaged public perception of the Supreme Court.

Agreed. Roberts need to come to grips with the fact that the SCOTUS problem isn’t coming from outside the courtroom walls.

Boy, this is a good one. They force themselves into the role of making laws defacto and then turn around and say they are being forced to be political. If they would simply do what they were hired to do which is JUDGE each case based upon the constitution they would have fewer people calling them political.

So true, and nice use of the word knave too. The English language is being slaughtered by pop culture slang.

And it is a perfect description of the them.

Roberts, who uses ex parte meetings with litigants,
was exposed to lie about what is written, and
so has brought utter hatred against the Blackrobes
who support fraud, corruption, foreign governments,
lying, as they despise the US Constitution.

The Supreme Court is nothing more than a corrupt, partisan political organization.

How can we degrade perception of that?

No Mr Justice, you and your fellow Justices are doing that all on your own. When you made the choiceto play legislator instead of doing your job as referees, you all shredded the credibility of your court.

Sorry Roberts but that's a lie and you know it. Your conduct on the bench is what's damaged the public's perception of SCOTUS more tham anything else. Lately. I won't even get into the left wing activism perpetrated by SCOTUS.

As if WTP were really interested in what this party had to say. A very smart man doesn’t stick his bare butt out the window and then cover said butt with black robes attempting to hide the imperfections.

You are so right. The black robes have taken over the consent of the governed. They think they are our lord and master instead of tyrants. The 6 of them should be thrown in prison (or worse) for making laws out of whole cloth. I so despise them except for Scalia, Thomas and Alito. The court is so top heavy with homosexuals Kagan, Sotomayor and Roberts, spit.

Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. said late Wednesday that partisan extremism is damaging the public’s perception of the role of the Supreme Court, recasting the justices as players in the political process rather than its referees.

*******************************************

Self-inflicted .... when you contort yourself into a pretzel to uphold what is clearly unconstitutional (Obamacare for starters), then this is what you get, Judge Roberts.

Roberts may want to educate us about what he thinks the role of court should be. But liberals DO think of the court as a super legislature. This is so clearly seen in the decision on homosexual marriage. The liberals decided to force that issue through the courts, and achieve a new law which they could not get through the legislative process. The same thing happened with abortion decades ago. I’m sure there are other cases too.

Liberals perceive the courts as being there to right the perceived wrongs of society and overcome what they perceive as shortcomings in the legislative process.
