You’re right. It is laughable that these people would see things the same way as Jimmy Carter — one of the worst presidents in American history — 21 percent interest rates, 15 percent inflation, and 9-10 percent unemployment. This is the same guy who said the American people had an “inordinate fear” about Communism — and then was stunned when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan. So Carter, the ho-ho ding-dong president, likes Trump. That figures. Carter is never right about anything.

The nail in Trump’s coffin. An endorsement by the 2nd worst president in history.

I look at it from a perspective as “both Cruz AND Trump now have endorsements from persons of dubious regard”.

Cruz has Glenn Beck to live with now, and it seems Trump has to deal with good tidings from perhaps the worst President ever before Obama.

Hell, if that's all it takes, please don't read where Cruz was agreeing with Bernie Sanders - the sudden flips can be disorienting....

While giving a speech for the Carter Center in the U.K. Wednesday, the 39th president was asked who he’d prefer on the Republican side: Mr. Cruz or Mr. Trump. Acknowledging his response would be surprising, Mr. Carter chose Mr. Trump.

He “has proven already he’s completely malleable,” Mr. Carter said. “On the other hand, Ted Cruz is not malleable. He has far right wing policies he’d pursue if he became president.”
