Donald Trump Says Media Behind Marco Rubio's Surge
Boston Herald ^ | Wednesday, February 03, 2016 | Howie Carr

y the time he took to the stage in front of more than 4,000 voters here last night, Donald Trump was back in pre-Iowa form, tearing into the latest Bum of the Month, Florida U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio — with the press thrown in for good measure, for aiding and abetting Marco’s “surge” to third.

“He comes in third, I come in second. Trump — no good! Marco — unbelievable! Winner of the night, Marco Rubio! Trump — humiliated!”

He’d just been endorsed by former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown — certainly not a good career move for Brown, considering that he works for the Fox News Channel. Backstage, Brown had given Trump some advice on how to win a New Hampshire campaign — do more “town hall” meetings.

“Town hall meetings?” Trump told the crowd. “Do you know how many town hall meetings I’d need to do to reach this many voters?”

Mr. Trump, some advice.

You are playing chess. If you do not plan and execute a careful strategy, you are going to find yourself in checkmate.

You need to rely on your strengths. Right now, you are relying on your weaknesses.

The guy is a yuge narcissist...he ‘CAN NOT’accept himself as the loser under normal conditions and will always find someone else to blame, but especially since he’s been touting what a winner he is for so long, made it a double whammy to Trump.

Also , I believe important to keep in mind, Trump “feels” loss about 50% more than the average individual does. It hits hard and deep mentally and emotionally. Which is why he was quite thereafter........no doubt his emotions were ready to burst and I’m sure family members heard it all. ...and or he was slightly sedated just to bare it.

This shouldn’t surprise any.....he’s certainly showed every emotion he’s about outwardly both in jest and insult and overall nastiness...........now imagine all that coming back at himself through himself because he lost.

All this blaming now is he’s busy shoring up the crash of his ego over the loss. That’s all it is and standard...he has to point the finger to recover.

Proof that he listens to NO advisor, probably doesn’t even have one.

Oh well.

I’m getting a little edgy with him. Just hafta’ hide and watch.

I repeat, in slightly different form, a question I asked on another thread: Doesn’t that man have ANYONE among his 3 wives, his sterling daughter and his two straight arrow adult sons who can tell him to leave off the personal attacks and start giving us a few broad principles as to what his presidential plans might be?

Trump is not playing it well at this point and I’m disappointed as I don’t want Hill, Bern, or Marco.

“Proof that he listens to NO advisor, probably doesn’t even have one.”

His ego’s too big to have an adviser.

The part of the media known as Fox News has been shilling for Rubio all along.

I don’t think it is excuses, he’s stating what is behind the rise of the GOPe candidate since Bush.

“I don’t think it is excuses, he’s stating what is behind the rise of the GOPe candidate since Bush.”

So the guy who is so good at working with democrats and unions that he successfully built a real estate empire in New York city is complaining about the good ole boy club making the field unfair.

lol it just gets better and better.

I said the same thing yesterday.
The game is Chess, not grenades at 30 paces.
Quickly, the opponent realizes standing 50 paces away is safe.

His statement is technically true, but it wasn’t a wise thing to say.
