Kid Rock, who campaigned with Mitt Romney in 2012 and freestyled the couplet, "They say Obama is lyin'/ That's why I'm voting for Romney and Ryan" in a concert outside that year's Republican convention, has settled on his pick for the 2016 Republican presidential nominee: Donald Trump.
Rock is one of the most prominent right-leaning voices in music, but he's also a somewhat irregular Republican: "I don't like the hardcore views on either side and I'm not in bed with anybody," he told Rolling Stone in 2013. "I'd probably be more libertarian, but I'm a firm believer you have to pick a side. I can't be playing the middle."

Bad Karma. I was in Florida and flew home the night before the 2012 elections to see the final Romney event in Manchester NH with Kid Rock performing. As a Trumpian I winced when I saw Trumps final rally before the NH primary voting is at the same arena.

You do know what alt as in alternative rock is?
You’re sitting there telling me that Kid Rock is a rapper, and then tell me that I am musically genre challenged.
You also imply that an endorsement from Kid Rock isn’t anything. Kid Rock has been active for years supporting the military at home and abroad. Which is beyond all reproach.
When in fact he’s one of the very few mainstream musicians that isn’t a totally liberal commie.
