The Bloomberg funded disarmist have enough money to run a very effective, sophisticated and organized project.

It will be hard, but not impossible to stop it.

They use sophisticated data mining methods and alroythms, likely purchased from Google and others, (who will not sell them to Conservatives) to identify and target those who are ignorant and susceptible to their propaganda.

Then they send those people personalized propaganda aimed at getting them to the polls on election day so as to “save lives”.

For example: They monitor online advertising for firearms. When someone advertises a firearm for sale on Armslist, they list it as another potential criminal sale to a felon or domestic abuser because of no required background check. They send that information to the targeted audience.

They use Bloomberg funded “studies” that find a state where some aspect of crime went up after gun sales were a little deregulated, and claim it as scientific proof that regulating sales decreases crime.

They look for a state that increased regulation, and had a drop of some kind of crime afterward, and tout that as scientific proof that increased regulation stops crime.

None of this withstands objective scrutiny, but the people they are peddling it too are not looking elsewhere. And it only has to convince them long enough for them to vote the one time.

It is much like the “Global Warming” or “Climate Change” hoax. Only it happens quickly, with lots of funding, before enough people educate themselves.

It has to be fought with the same level of sophistication on the net, and with a massive public education campaign in the media.

That did not happen in Washington State. In Oregon, Bloomberg just bought the legislature.

In Washington State, the Second Amendment Foundation and the National Rifle Association let their rivalries stop a unified effort. The NRA gave minimal assistance; the SAF effort gave a devided message. Second Amendment supporters lost.

It will happen again, if the threat is not taken seriously.

The guy collecting signatures wasn’t emailing people or buying targeted ads. He stood in front of the polling station and asked people loaded questions. Most gave him the bird but one lone person of a particular profile got snookered into signing the petition even though we yelled “HE’S LYING!”

That’s about as low tech as you can get.
